Facebook isn't the best place to follow us for updates - as always, the website is going to have the most up to date information on events and goings-on at the shop, but in addition to that we have an Instagram page, twitter (X) page and Bluesky page that are all in use and active.

Additionally, there's an art show coming up at the end of the month! If you or someone you know is a local artist in the bay area - let them know they can be featured on our walls! Check out our website for more information. See you all at the reception on Jan. 25!

THIS SUNDAY: 10/13 from 12-3pm Join us in the shop with Maya Songbird for our first ever ✨Magic Brunch✨ We will have donuts, coffee and non-alc mimosas and folks who buy a ticket (day of, at the shop, $15-30 sliding scale) will get a tarot reading and color consultation from Maya (&comic from me!)

Hi everyone! We have been raising funds for folks in need and wanted to share all the campaigns we have been able to donate to with your help! We have raised hundreds over the past couple months with just our sticker and art donation campaign and we are glad to have been able to assist with basic needs and evacuation funds for folks experiencing gen0cide in the G@za strip - we have compiled all of these campaigns in a post on our website so that you all can hopefully take a look, read their stories, and donate/share as you are able.

None of us are free, until all of us are free. 💜

Join us on Friday (07/12) from 6-9 PM for comics by Other World Musical and Sour Cherry Comics, a live DJ set by Young Ella Baker ( on Instagram), screen printing, food, drinks, and so much more! Cosplay encouraged! Experience the journey of artists from around the world as they transform the ethereal melodies of Other World: a New Musical into a vivid comic universe before it's gone!

The Hylox is a creature in the Other World universe that is from the realm Falls of Firon. They are benign, even friendly, and will allow players to ride them to other realms. Learn more about hylox and the creature including in the fantastical world of Other World.

Another fun + cute event to look forward to this Saturday, May 4th on FCBD / Sour Cherry 'Con!

Join us for a Q***r Tea Party hosted by Sour Cherry Comics and the butlers of Butler Cafe V from 4-6pm this Saturday. While you're perusing free comics (and our assortment of curated books, graphic novels, and toys available for purchase), why not have a cup of tea and a snack? (Please bring some cash for tips*)

ALSO! For every $10 you spend, you get a ticket to our big raffle (more prize info on the instagram page later!) & we will be announcing the winners at 7pm 🌟

We are getting psyched for SOUR CHERRY CON - our third annual FREE COMIC BOOK DAY all weekend celebration! You can drop by the shop and get your free comics and enjoy some of the fun games and activities we have going on. Cosplay is encouraged and there will be a big raffle on Saturday for an EPIC prize!

Just announced for SATURDAY, May 4, 2-3pm: Pass The Zine Game! A zine making game where participants will pass around some zines and add pieces of a story! This game will be lead by local artist and zine maker, Tiff Zhang! If you like improv, storytelling and doodling, this game is for you..!!
