Double sleeping bags (or two person sleeping bags), are designed to comfortably fit two adults inside. If you love snuggling with your partner at night, or find a single sleeping bag restricting then double bags are ideal. However, what warmth you may gain from the combined body heat of two people in one bag can often be lost due to the loose fit of some double sleeping bags letting in excess cold air. SINGLE SLEEPING BAG

The most basic sleeping bag model you’ll ever come into contact with. It’s your basic tube-like bag with a wide opening at the top, and minimal insulation (either synthetic or down), and packs up in the most normal way possible.
Thanks to the evenly displaced fluffiness and generally waterproof shells, it folds up well.
The most simple way you can pack this is with a single roll in one direction.
You won’t even need to have a nylon drawstring bag, because after rolling this up, it will be the perfect size to hang underneath an external frame backpack, or strap-in on top of your regular backpack on the leather straps that keep the top flap down. Those who are testing out cold-weather camping—or those wanting a bag for a one-off trip—should look at the Kelty Cosmic 0 Degree bag. Kelty is known for high-quality outdoor products at value prices, and the Cosmic is just that. At less than $200 and a warmth rating to zero degrees, there's no better intro cold-weather bag.

Now, the Cosmic won't blow the other bags on this list away. But it does great across the necessary categories like warmth, water resistance, and speedy drying. At 4 pounds, it's a bit heavier than other backpacking bags. But these days, that means it's still relatively light.

Sleeping Bag Chair

Well, one of my complaints about camping is that I will have to sleep on the cold lumpy floor or some forest, well that might not be the case with this awesome looking chair that is, in fact, a sleeping bag! Making camping just like falling asleep in front the TV. (as I always do)

Western Mountaineering makes some of the highest quality, lightest, and warmest sleeping bags we've ever tested. In our opinion, the Alpinlite is the highest quality sleeping bag on this list. Every detail on this bag is dialed in - exceptional materials, awesome no-snag zipper, draft collar, well-shaped footbox and hood, full-length draft tube, and the list goes on. The Alpinlite comes with a sizable price tag, but it can also last for decades if treated well. Western Mountaineering's UltraLite (a narrower version of the Alpinlite) and Versalite (a warmer version of the Alpinlite) are also both excellent choices.

This form of camping is one of the most physically exhaustive types of camping on this list. Backpacking will have you walk for hours or days carrying heavy bags through beautiful mountains and forests.
Being self-sufficient is also particularly crucial for this trip. Since you will be spending most of your time walking or traveling, you will have to sleep in sleeping bags.
