When working with polymer clay, it’s so important to be conscious of your use and waste - here are a couple ways I try to cut down my waste:

• I’ve taught myself a liiiiittle bit about color theory, so I can mix all of the leftover scraps together and make new and unique colors that match my aesthetic. Pictured here are three colors I made from ALL of my scraps I’ve accumulated since beginning frn. These will be used to make prototypes and some limited sets of my classic styles.

• In the beginning I was testing and making my own color recipes and ended up with a lot of scraps. I decided to purchase color recipes and tweak from there to get the colors I want. This has saved me so much clay (and time).

• Lastly, I try really hard to make quality pieces that last and will be loved for many years to come 🙃
