Wow! Thanks to everyone who made our Record Store Day the biggest and best one yet! A special shout out to all our DJs including and who provided the soundtrack to our day. We loved seeing families, friends, and new faces come out to celebrate record stores with us. It made all the hard work we put in worth it. Thanks again for the support! 🙏

Are you all ready for a fun Record Store Day? We are! Just a few notes for everybody…
• We open early at 8am with tons of new exclusives available under our canopy in the driveway. Plus hundreds of rare used records inside the shop in all genres. We’ll have two lines depending on what you’re on the hunt for. Make sure to check out everything on the walls.
• We’ve had lots of metal heads asking about the remainder of that big collection we picked up. Saturday is the day to cruise through and see all the signed copies we just priced. Lots of killer stuff.
• For the Swifties messaging, we’ve got a ton of the Elizabeth Taylor single to make sure you’re covered.
• All remaining RSD stock will be available on our website at vinyljunkies.net on Sunday at 5am. We can’t hold records or sell online before then according to the rules for all participating stores.
• And lastly, we appreciate you and hope you’ll come celebrate the existence of us indie record stores. Without you all, we are nothing! 🙏🎉🙌

Fellow Vinyl Junkies…we’ve got a real rarity available for sale today. The famous Beatles “Yesterday and Today” Butcher Cover! The short story is, the album was released with a cover of the Fab Four dressed in butcher smocks with doll parts and raw meat. Due to a public backlash, the label immediately pulled the copies from the store shelves and instead of replacing the cover, they pasted a new cover on top. These are rare because after this initial pressing they replaced the cover properly. You can tell which albums have this original cover underneath and have the pasteover professionally removed. Or you can take the matter into your own hands and remove it the DIY way like this previous owner did. Far from perfect condition but it is a unique part of rock music history that can be a new addition to your collection without breaking the bank. Available for purchase only in the store. Questions?
