It's Precision Tackle swimjig and jig season!
The big pre-spawn females focus they're diet on craws and sunfish before the spawn.
Thats why the jig bite is so good now.
Turn off your scope and throw a jig. I promise, its a lot more enjoyable.

The S.B. swimjig's been gettin bit on Lake Havasu. Went out for a few hours and got them on shallow and mid depth isolated cover. No giants but good fish.

New Lake Havasu record! Brad Miller caught a 11.34 lb largemouth bass to break the old record of 10.52 lbs that stood for 16 years! The fish was released healthy back to the lake where it was caught.

Precision Tackle Heavy Cover Jig got some pretty good bites at Wheeler Lake in Alabama. Even a Goggle Eye took a turn at it. Fishing heavy lay downs was no problem without many hang ups.

Not how I thought the tournament was going to go. I was plagued with boat problems throughout practice and day 1 of the tournament. If you are not aware of the set screw for the Mercury Pro XS trim system, u better look it up. It has to be tightened and monitored. It will fall out and send the trim system and entire motor into guardian mode. Trust me it sucks... ruined my tournament.
Oh well, on to the last NPFL tournament on Lake Murray, South Carolina - December 8-13.
I'm now driving to Atlanta to park my truck and boat then fly home. I finally get to see Patti and my family after being gone since October 17th.
