Happy National Author’s Day to all the very talented authors I know and especially my husband!

Drafting, writing, editing, printing, publishing, the tasks are endless but so worth it!

My husband wrote Whirlwinds to Rainbow as a Mother’s Day gift in 2020 to thank me + the millions of women out there fighting infertility to try and build their family. And of course, celebrating rainbow babies 🌈

Ours was an 8 year journey, with 3 losses, that finally led to 2 rainbow babes 🙌 This children’s book, like our family, is full of hope and the courage to keep going even through the worst storms. We hope everyone gets their rainbow.

Whirlwinds to Rainbow all day every day!

Maybe because it’s in every room of the house, maybe because he’s the main character, maybe because his dad wrote the book, doesn’t matter the reason, he loves it and we love that!

A story for so many, too many because , that is dedicated to the true heroes of the family, moms!, and alllll they do to try and build their family, while also celebrating sweet rainbow babes.

One month of loving you!

I know everyone always says “I can’t believe it’s been a month.” Well it’s been a MONTH! I’m also not one to sugarcoat reality. First week in NICU, newborn nights are exhausting, the sleepless nights are something no one can get used to (don’t know how my husband does it 🚒), and breastfeeding is a JOB 😳

It took us 8 years to complete our family and of course I wouldn’t change a thing!!!

Although there should be a special coffee strong enough for parents of newborns ☕️

Our brand, Bombproof Family, is defined as a family that’s indestructible. No matter the obstacles to overcome or any adversity faced, the Bombproof Family carries on. ⁣⁣

Who We Are
I have been a teacher for the past 15 years and am now an online professor + curriculum developer for multiple universities. My husband is a firefighter and bomb technician. We met on Match in 2008 (Yep! And there was no app back then, we had to use our computers 🦖) got married, traveled the world, and started trying for a family in 2013. Our path to creating a family was chock-full of what seemed at times to be insurmountable obstacles. There were too many years of inability to conceive, followed by the devastating loss of three pregnancies. Through sheer resolve, we weathered the many storms and are the proud parents of our 4 year old son, Logan. Had another loss when Logan was 2. And we are finally expecting his baby sister in July. We are excited and also terrified.
