Y’all. A mother’s wedding dress. A brand new baby. One BinaBear. Humans are so so creative and I am forever honored to be able to do this. 😩😭

This bear was handcrafted from the original satin and fragile from a wedding dress, all of which was preserved and transformed into something a new life can carry forward.

What was once folded away in a box is now something her grandchild will hold onto forever. And they will put a sound recording of the baby’s ♥️ beat inside the BB PLSSSSSS.

Proof that old things and things we already have, can give new life to the people you love. Always remember that as technology continues to change our fabric of being. :/

What a loving memory of Mimi and Papa who chose to love each other for an entire lifetime. That love will continued to be talked about and passed on for generations to come. I can feel it through the pictures 🧸🥹❤️

This world is so loud. It moves so freakin fast. And sometimes it’s heavy in ways that I personally just can’t put into words. TBH Im so freakin tired…AND I’m also so invigorated 🥹😭🧸 both seem to be true.

In the middle of a chaotic world, I keep finding myself in spaces with people and with children connected to fabric.

🧸Quilt guild shows: San Diego People of Color Quilters Guild
🧸Museum exhibitions and gathering:
🧸Workshops spaces where I teach and kids/ people who are strangers sit next to one another and connect with the needle and thread they hold in their hands:

There’s something so steady about being in communities like this. There’s is something so ancient about passing fabric through our hands and remembering we are threaded together.

BinaBears is shaped by these spaces. Your BinaBear you have (will have) is shaped by these spaces. Where people treat textiles not just as material, but as memory.

So so grateful to learn from and be a part of these communities that make room for human connection. We are wired for love and creation, never let the evils of the world make you forget that.

I pray you feel the community that is threaded and weaved into your BinaBears. And I pray we all find our people that remind us that humans do have the ability to bring heaven to earth. ❤️✨

Sometimes when we just pause for a moment, the small tangible material things we keep, save, collect, and/or preserved, carry more meaning, memory, and history than we realized.

This BinaBear made from grandma Brenda’s nightgown carries more than just fabric and stuffing.

It carries Erin’s decision to love differently in her family. Leading with thought and intention.

It carries the memory of a grandmother and a mother.

It serves as a bridge from one generation to the next.

And it dares to soften what feels hard and rough.

Healing doesn’t always occur through words. Sometimes it looks like putting on your loved one’s clothes. Sometimes it’s continuous prayers. And/Or sometimes it occurs through small actions rooted in thought, love, and care which inevitably threads one human to another.

Sometimes for BinaBears…healing looks just like this 🧸❤️✨

TBH all I want for Christmas is…world peace, love, honest talks of our grieving hearts, connection, grateful spirits, and to highlight and celebrate the people who actually give a damn about others.

And all our wants and desires starts with me…you..and then each other.

BinaBears is virtually sending you all a very Merry Christmas. Even if you hate this time of the year, even if it brings you anger, sadness, depression, or if it brings you nothing but joy and good cheers, the weight of the human experience is heavy and all encompassing. I know too well. Which is why we often try to escape it. But what if we just choose to learn how to embrace eacother a bit better to learn the languages of each emotion? b/c this life isn’t not meant to be journeyed alone ya know?🫂❤️

Whelp anywhoot, just some lil thoughts I had while making these BinaBears this holiday season. Know I’m present and I see you. BinaBears loves you so! Sending you all a big hug and a Merry Christmas and holiday season!

Been off social media focusing on these memory bears by BinaBears Christmas orders but I wanted to take time to celebrate how far we’ve come!

For those who are new here WELCOME to BinaBears! 🫂🧸 A place where you feel your heart beat a little extra for people, for those you love, and for the precious moments you experience.

My name is Sabrina and long story short 15 years ago I watched my grandmother take her last breath, and 5 years ago I birthed a business rooted in healing as we all navigate the grief of having someone we love pass away while also still trying to cherish/celebrate the life that we still continue to live!

11/19 is both my grandmas Bday and BinaBears Bday🧸

And WHAT a journey this has been. Thank you to those who’ve been with me and those who are are just now tagging along. I wanted to create something that brings comfort, deep love, and a legacy to people. I love bringing our memories back to life and passing them forward in a creative way. It gives you a way to hold a part of your loved one(s) close, even when they’re gone.

So cheers to the last month of 2025. BinaBears is just getting started and isn’t an ordinary business ❤️🧸🙂‍↕️ May we please hold each other with regard and care as best as we can. This is a tough season for so many so we all need it. I love you and sending you a BinaBears hug 🫂

Her BinaBear is finally in her hands! 🥹 This was another one of those creations that was hard to part with, but knowing this one-of-a-kind memory bear will be hugged, held, and cherished for generations makes it all worth it. That’s the beauty of creating these BinaBears. ❤️🧸
