Shaped by hand, guided by slowness. These mugs and plates carry the quiet marks of process — fingerprints in clay, glazes that shift like stone, edges that refuse to be perfect. I make things as a reminder that beauty can be found in irregularity, in slowing down, in the everyday rituals.

Each piece holds a little of where it came from: soil, fire, water, time.

A mug isn’t just a mug. It’s a little room where hot liquid lives for a while. Sometimes you forget about it and it gets cold, but the mug doesn’t judge you. It understands. It was made to hold disappointment gently, like we all were I suppose -joy too.

This summer I made this mug and some other things out of clay.

Bobbi Badger’s blood work came back with improved results as far as toxins in her blood and kidney function. We still have an appointment with UC Davis on the 5th to get an ultrasound and will know more after that.
