ahhhh, what a year. 🤍
2025 was about becoming.
It was about taking the visions that lived in my head and giving them form. About choosing myself before certainty ever arrived.
I recently read, “we are our choices,” and reading that at the end of this year felt like a reflection of everything 2025 was. At the beginning of the year, I chose to open a brick-and-mortar. There were so many uncertainties, so many moments of fear and doubt. But more than anything, I had to trust myself and just do it. And here we are, one year later. The store has become a favorite place for so many people to shop sustainably and find unique pieces.
There were busy months and slow months. My first no-sale day was a punch to the ego. I thought I lost my taste. But I chose to keep showing up, keep curating, and keep creating space for connection through events. Sales will always fluctuate, but consistency is everything.
This year brought new friendships and taught me how to ask for help instead of carrying everything alone. I’ve chosen to open up and connect more with people. No matter how brief our interaction maybe, I truly appreciate your presence in my life.
To the San Diego community: thank you for welcoming me, supporting me, and believing in this dream with me.
And to my amazing husband, this dream would not be a reality without you. I can’t wait to see the world and create new memories together. Thank you for believing in me. I love you!
I know in my heart that 2026 will be a good year. It’s a year to start. If you’re still waiting for a sign, let this be it.
