📚 The Reading Bug + May Day Strong 📚

May 1 is International Workers' Day — celebrated as a public holiday across much of the world, and this year, our bookstore is supporting May Day Strong, a coordinated call to make May 1 a day of no work, no school, and no shopping in support of workers and democracy.

We're proud to stand with that effort. And we've decided to stay open — because independent bookstores have always been gathering places, and our community needs somewhere to gather!

Join us this Friday, May 1:
– Storytime with Lauren at 11:00am
– Cold drinks and cookies all day
– Browse freely and we'll hold anything you love for pickup Sat/Sun at 5% off
– Pay cash on May 1 and get 5% off

Come be with your community. We'll have the door open. ❤️
