Dear Feline Furniture Owners,

After 9 years running the business it is time for me to move on and do other things. I love cats and I love you who care for the cats. I don't want this boutique manufacturing business to go out of business, but I am not interested in selling it either. I am interested in finding the perfect cat rescue or sanctuary that is interested in running the business and our amazon store and generating funds to further your efforts to help more cats. We feel we have made some pretty amazing cat furniture to protect and help feral, porch and super lucky inside cats and over the years you have supported us well.

Here is what is needed to run the business:

You need a person familiar with amazon and running a website and taking orders and chatting over the phone when needed. Then you need a person or a small team of dedicated volunteers that will build the cat furniture and send it it out via ups.

The main busy time of year is the winter and it can involve some work, but if you have a creative helper and some time and space on your hands you can pre build stuff and just ship it as needed.

If your non profit organization is interested please send me a private message and your phone number and I will call you.

To my current customers I may have some extra beams, condos and hammocks, 4 ,5 6 points etc. I am willing to sell to get you by in the mean time. Just send me a private message with your email and we can go from there.

Thanks for all the great years. It is with great sadness I am making this decision, but my printing business has really taken off and I realize I can't serve two masters well. So I am taking the high road and hoping to find a great home for the business and the cats.

My goal is to not charge at all for the business, but get all 10 pallets and about 25,000 dollars of inventory parts to the perfect non profit and to see the business thrive.

Cheers and happy catting!

Good news, we have a new website and we have lowered the prices on all feral cat house items. Now they are for sale on felinefurniture.com and shipping is free. Prices are lower than before in most cases and now we removed the shipping costs too. Feral cat houses use to be $99 + 19.99 shipping. Now they are $95 bucks and that includes shipping.

The new site is easier to navigate. You can easily order and check out.

Please spread the love and lets keep these cats warm this winter.

Looks who's sleeping in my bed. Even Possums want to be warm. he is tucked inside the Cat Barn we make. This unit has a heater in it that will keep any animal warm. It only goes on when an animal sits on it and goes up to about 105. Like a faux fur lined spa.

Glad to keep this little feller warm last night.

The Cat Barn has two doors just in case his momma comes a calling when the kitty is inside. The cat can bail out the back and be safe.

Don't ever buy a one doors cat house. Not a good idea when or if a coyote comes a calling.

We have now added green and black to the line of feral cat houses. We skinned the doors in black and green respectively to help them stay hidden better outdoors.

Hope you love them.

O.k. I need your help here please.

We have finally after about 4 years figured out how to make the perfect feral cat house that will never leak unless a wet cat comes inside. No matter what. It looks like this and will have a white or a black face. This is super thick 1" thick to be exact. It is a thick durable foam. It will replace the wood which due to the fact it was untreated expanded and shrunk depending on the weather.

The only issue I have and need your help on is the colors. I have white and black as my two colors.

What do you like about the white and what do you not like about it.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Wow, Got some great news today. Cathy from NY, Ny called today and ordered 5 more beams for her set. She bought her set 11 years ago before I owned the company. She has main c***s and they are big cats. Here is a 11 year old picture and a recent picture of Mack and Lucy still loving their furniture.

Thanks for sharing.

Comments below from Cathy.

PS Here are Mack and Lucy as kittens, 11 years ago, and today. They love their Feline Furniture!

Maryanne,

My friend and cat lover in Oregon sent me this story today about Stumbles. I can kick in $100 and I can also donate $50 bucks toward each of the 4 Six Cats I have on Amazon. Order a six cat at a discounted rate and get free shipping on Amazon then your order will earn Cats Inc. $50 toward the vet bill. Only 4 left and the sales ends tomorrow on Amazon I think.

Scott,

Yesterday someone left a kitten on my porch who had his leg broken. It isn’t a normal break according to the vets’ assessment so it was a deliberate action that broke it. Either someone kicked this sweet boy, or hit him with a blunt object. Could you maybe post the following on facebook for me with a link to my blog? I am in the middle of trying to raise the monies needed to save his leg. I call the kitten “Stumbles” I don’t have photos of him yet as I rushed him right to the vets office.

Thanks Scott!

Even before Stumbles turned a year old, he discovered that some humans are evil. This beautiful gray short-hair kitty has a broken leg. Tomorrow Stumbles will undergo surgery where the vets will pin his leg and cast it in an attempt to save the leg. The “Kitty” at our sanctuary is pretty low at the moment and there is an ongoing fund-raiser to help with the cost of this surgery. If you can contribute, Stumbles would appreciate it. You can go to www.feralcatbehavior.com and read his story- photos will be posted soon-

Thank you- please keep Stums in your prayers tomorrow when his surgery is scheduled-

Getting a Break (no pun intended)Posted on January 28, 2014 by Administrator4My vet is so wonderful. He is going to only charge CATS Inc., half of what this operation would normally cost. The original estimate was $1,300.00 but they are going to now call it an “extended neuter” and only charge $600....

Well sometimes it all just works out for the cats. Here is a heartwarming story you have to read.

Subject: sharing a miracle

Recently, I put a donation jar at a local shop in town. Face it, everyone is broke from the holidays or dealing with their own crisis and donations aren’t high in the month of Jan. I still have several hundred dollars owed to my vet.
So I got a large pickle jar and decided to decorate it with photos of the kitties here for adoption. One of those kitties is Glory Bee. Last night I got a call from a man who said “you have our kitty!”
I went “Excuse me?”
He laughed (thank God) and said “I am here at the store looking at your donation jar, and I see our kitty we lost on your jar!”
And indeed, it turns out that Glory belongs to him and his wife. His wife has recently been quite ill and he has been shuttling her from Portland almost four times a week. They are retired and usually home. Their calico vanished during this time and their calico is GLory!!!!
Roger said his wife is in the hospital but she will be getting better now that Paisley has been located! I bring Glory back to her owners tonight!!!!!!!
Doesn’t matter that the donation jar is empty, this is the reward worth waiting for!!!
