We’ve been doing a little tidying behind the scenes.

If you’ve ever browsed our bookplates and felt unsure about which option to choose, you’re not alone—and I hear you. I want ordering to feel as simple and enjoyable as the moment you place that very first bookplate inside a beloved book.

So, we’re making a small (but helpful!) change to our Etsy shop.

Going forward, all bookplates will be offered as two separate listings:

✨ Blank Bookplates – perfect for handwritten personalization (a lovely, classic touch)
✨ Digitally Personalized Bookplates – customized and printed by us, ready to use

This should make things much clearer and help you quickly find exactly what you’re looking for, no second guessing needed. When the project is complete, we plan to make it even easier to shop by splitting the two options into their own shop section.

The updated listings are starting to roll out now, but it will take a bit to get everything finished. We're doing a little bit every day (including adding new designs like this sweet little froggy bookplate). I'd love for you to take a look and find your favorite.

So *usually* this time of year is an exciting, creative time for me. During the spring, when orders don't fly quite as quickly, I get to break open the "ideas" notebook (that gets scribbled entries year round, whenever an idea hits) and explore. It's when random thoughts and observations become new products. It's the most wonderful time of the year in my world.

Distractions like businesses you are linked to declaring bankruptcy with no notice whatsoever (thanks so much Painted Tree Boutiques!) can really throw a monkey wrench in my happy time. Today, that space is cleared out and the Painted Tree era is in our rearview mirror. Today, I am reclaiming my joy and looking forward to the future and new opportunities. Today, I am making pretty things and I am almost content again. Today, these new magnetic bookmarks, as small as they are, are a big part of my happy healing place. Coming soon to our website, Etsy and Faire. 🫶

As our Grands used to say...."you have the same pair of pants to get happy in." So. Trying something new & very much out of my comfort zone in an effort to shake things up a little and find those "happy pants" a little more often. A selfie? I'm too old for selfies, right? Well, I have decided that I am going to share more than just pics of stuff we make and ❤️ ( and hope you do too) in 2026. Starting with the biggest challend for me...showing my face. 🤣 This is me, getting to the workshop at 830 am on December 16, to wrap up the last of our online orders for the year. New grays, wrinkles and all (yoots- pay attention to your neck! I didn't and it showwwssss lol!). I am tired. The world feels so heavy. The past few years have been rough for many, including the Sunshine and Ravioli team. But moving forward, being more *authentic* with social media is the only way that feels right, so here we go (i might even show you the creative hurricane that is the workshop-lol).

Happy holidays to everyone who has been a part of our little universe in 2025. , peeps , and regulars....We hope to see more of you in 2026 🙂. You are even more appreciated than you know! 🫶🫶🫶

The most wonderful time of the year rolls around once again! 🎄🎉🎄 We are set to go for this year's (25th annual) ! Setup went smoothly, save one drill that kicked the bucket and stalled our progress (last photo, that's where we took a mandatory Home Depot break 🤣). The elves (all 2 of us) have been working hard this year to bring you tons of fresh new ! Visit us and a few hundred amazing vendors November 14 - December 24 in Austin!

Hi Gang! Before the holiday season really picks up, I wanted to put out a little warning to any of our Amazon customers. It's not 100% yet. Let's say 99.999% that we will be shutting it down on Amazon come the first of the year. So many huge changes over there that I just can't keep up. And honestly, I don't want to. Amazon just isn't vibing with where we want to be in the future. The money is great (or it used to be until all of these changes), the stress is not. So we are doing something I seem to do every few years: going with my gut and taking a flying leap into who knows what. But wait. I do know what. You will be able to find everything we offer between our website and our Etsy shop. And I will be devoting all of that confusion time wasted on Amazon to develop the sites I like and understand into even better shops. We are looking forward to it! You'll still find us online and in a growing number of independently owned bookshops across the country, just NOT on Amazon! 🫶

So, 4th Quarter is like this maker's Superbowl. The workshop is a mess with prep for multiple holiday selling platforms/locations. Creative chaos is how we roll October-December. What better time to pick up that tool you purchased months ago and get creative? Granted, right now might not seem the best timing, but sometimes it's best not to question creativity. So we will be adding bookish pins to the catalog very soon (stocking stuffer ready!). BORN TO READ, INDEED!
