The sisterhood of wreath makers is for real!
A few weeks ago, I posted a picture of the patriotic wreath on my front door explaining that I could only make a 3 loop bow because I could only use one arm/hand (my left arm was in a sling as a result of surgery). Kathy Potter (Teelted Halo Designs) came upon my post and took “pity” on my situation and my wreath. She stated that when she returned back to her home, she would send me a new bow for my wreath. True to her word, she sent me a bow which was received today! Thank you so much for helping a fellow wreath maker out and sending me a beautiful bow! Y’all, this is what support for each other is all about. Bunches of hearts and flowers to you, sweet Kathy!

Celebrate the patriotic holidays with this small but powerful wreath on your front door, office door, or any interior door in your home. It has the traditional colors of red, white, and blue using a wildflower bush, red roses, coordinating ribbon, and the “One Nation Under God” sign. All embellishments are on an Angel vine wreath. It is available for pick up.

I have this fall wreath that I made last year, but it has never sold. It had pumpkins and those gorgeous mushrooms, lots of foliage and berries. It doesn’t have a bow so I thought a bow might be what customers are missing. So…I ordered 2 ribbons, one brown with mushrooms and a lighter one with berries. If you will please check the comments you will find a photo of the ribbons on the wreath side by side. One is Ribbon A and the other is Ribbon B. If you think that a bow and ribbon would help this wreath, please let me know which ribbon you prefer. Thanks!

It has been 42 days since my surgery, and in those 42 days, all I have managed to do is sit around and eat (and gain a bunch of weight). I was finally able to cook a meal on Sunday and wash dishes, but it wasn’t easy. I made a quick trip to Port A last week, but my daughters took care of everything. I will be starting outpatient physical therapy next Monday, but in the meantime, I work on light therapy exercises here at home that the therapist taught me to do. I have to wear my sling (which feels more like a straight jacket) when I leave the house and at night for sleeping. Ever try to eat at a restaurant with one hand? It’s not a pretty sight. Oh, and I am still not able to drive so there’s that, too. Sooo, today I decided to push the envelope and try my hand at making a wreath. I cut the mesh, added it to the base, and further added flowers around the edges. I’m going to stop for today, I don’t want to push my luck. I will come back to it tomorrow and do a little more. I’m trying to regain my “mojo”, but it’s not coming easily. Anyway, stay tuned and let’s see how far I can go! Stay tuned.
I forgot to mention that I am still not able to comb my hair, so I wear it loose and held back with a headband (unless someone comes by and puts it in a ponytail 🙄).
