It’s Advent Eve!!! In our house, Day 1 is always new Christmas PJs...ALWAYS! My kids know it’s coming, but I will never change it bc they love it so much. Tomorrow they will open them up, try them on, and snuggle up as we talk about Anticipation. Eagerly awaiting the birth of our King...our Rescuer!!! That’s what advent is all about. Looking for Jesus and knowing that His birth was the start of the Easter story ❤️ I pray that your calendar is a blessing to your family as you set aside time each day to focus on the excitement and anticipation of the baby who changed everything!

We have used this checklist each year to keep us in check!! They get something they really WANT. Something they NEED (usually clothing bc they grow out of shoes every other day 😳), an experience to DO, and new books to READ. Of course there are a few little stocking stuffers too. The house doesn’t end up completely cluttered with new junk...umm...I mean toys AND we keep the focus on the important stuff 🎄❤️🎄
