Welp, we are stuck at the airport after our flight was cancelled. There are a lot of flights cancelled, and hoping our re-booked flight isn’t cancelled. Listening to Elvis and the rest of the emergency system at 2am wasn’t on today’s bingo card lol.

Day 3 of SuperZoo is complete!

We went to a lot of cool booths and are bringing some amazing ideas back. We ordered some really cool displays for the store. They should start showing up over the next month.

We talked to industry reps/insiders to gain more knowledge. Most of all, we just want to bring more cool things to Salty Fish so that you can call us your one stop resource for your aquarium and terrarium needs.

Day 2 in the books at SuperZoo. If I’m being completely honest, it wasn’t much to write about. There are some nice setups, but I was hoping for a lot more.

We’re at Superzoo checking out new and updated products. The show is huge. We only got to walk maybe a forth of it yesterday in 8 hours. Today we should make it to the aquatic section, but here’s a small sneak peak.

We have always advocated to not dump unwanted fish, or plants into our local rivers and lakes. I have asked to be added to this list supporting this effort.

If you have fish or plants that you can no longer take care of, do the responsible thing and surrender them to your local fish store.

🐠 Ready to retire your fish tank? Don’t Tank the River!

❌🌊 Don’t dump anything into local waterways, this includes fish, plants, rocks, and decorations. Instead, donate the entire setup to Papa Jims Tropical Fish, Elegant Reef - Tropical Fish Studio, or Texas Tropical & Marine . These local businesses have partnered with the San Antonio River Authority to help prevent improper aquarium dumping.

Releasing aquarium fish or plants into ponds or rivers may seem harmless, but it can destroy local ecosystems. Most aquarium pets are not native to our waterways and can become invasive!
