Lil boy opossum was camping out in someone's garage 😂.

He needs a bath and a cheeseburger 🍔 (folks, please understand that is purely humor, they don't get cheeseburgers...they prefer chili dogs 😜)

We have been buried under intakes and our very behind on posting bebe pictures, but had to get these two shots for today!!

Hopefully, these two will be our lucky charms!!!

This beautiful mama came in last night. She had her front paw caught in a rat trap. Although the finder was able to get the trap off of her, while she was trying to free herself, she managed to tangle up a ball of w**ds around her wrist.

The w**ds were on there so tight they had to be surgically cut off when she got to the sanctuary.

While checking her over after the w**d ball was removed, a tiny baby was noticed in her pouch!

The first mama of the season! ❤️

With her wrist broken, she will stay with us and raise her babies here. Once everyone is ready to be released, they can all go as a family.

Buggy

This little lady opossum has been through so much. She came in partially degloved and the would full of "larvae"... 🤮.

She made a full recovery and is off to restart her wild life!

All that sniffin!!

Opossums from the southern part of Texas and Mexico are typically DARK, almost all black, with a little bit of a white face. This beautiful girl is so light.

She is becoming accustomed to noises and outdoor temps and will he preparing for winter.
