Dodgers x One Piece Night ‘26 ⚾️ 🏟️
🛫 5:00am flight to my layover in Chicago of all places and THEN fly all the way back to Cali, literally asked myself “why haven’t we landed yet?”
🛬 12:30 Burbank Airport, which by the way, if you’re flying into LA or somewhere around the area, always check if Burbank is close, you don’t want to deal with LAX and Burbank is a pretty hip place to be💯
🚙Uber 30 min.
🪑1pm First line is already underway. Same sidewalk as last year. Can we normalize starting the line across the street in the shade next time? Either way was prepared with my carryon beach chair and electrolytes. Some friends showed up and met a cool dude from Osaka Japan. Sun meet face☀️🥵
🚶🏻♂️🏃♂️🚶♀️🏃♀️3:30pm Line starts moving, up the long and inclinded parking lot we go, a rush to the gate.
Chair left behind and the guy who wanted a Monster over water is regretting his choices at this moment🤦🏻
🛑3:10pm We have reached the final line boss. Another hour and a half of waiting but at least they brought us up earlier this time. Even met one of the One Piece content creators OrangeSamuraiD cool dude.
Shoutout to the amazing breeze blessing us while we wait🍃
🏟️5pm In stadium, get the card and the hat and already getting offered $500 for the card. Everyone and their grandma was trying to buy this card and yes, grannies were trying to hustle. Tried to get extra rickets but they were getting bought out fast at $300 and then right up to $2k. Decided to watch some of the game and get a hotdog and fries. Hype moment was when the cameraman showed a dude ripping a pack but sadly cut to someone else before we could see the hit, he pulled an alt Luffy from what I heard.
🧢9:30pm Dodgers win and they are letting us onto the field for the drone show. Never been on a legit baseball field before, let alone in Dodger’s Stadium.
🚥10pm, Cool show, got some pics with the new and OG Dodger Luffy. Being on the field was definitely a highlight.
🚙🏨🛌11pm Got a Lyft in the crazy Dodger traffic and a room for the night. Being at the airport at 5am was around the corner.
