We’re back!
We’ve been on a hiatus while we fulfilled other obligations, but we’ll be spinning this page up over the next several weeks, and dedicating it to the training and business side of our industry.
Appropriately, we’re dropping a nugget for anyone out there looking to improve their coating process.
Behold, the Cerakote bottle we’ve all become intimately familiar with. On it, you’ll have some important information, like;
Product series and color number
Size of mesh strainer required
The Lot number of the particular coating
A warning not to eat it
As applicators and business owners, we add a couple more things; We label every bottle with the date that it arrives from NIC as well as a second date when we crack it open.
Why? It gives us a quick idea of how much coating we’re burning through in a given time period, and clues us in on what we may need to consider ordering in larger or smaller quantities.
