I want to say I'm a full-time artist, but then I see other artists and it's hard to put myself in that category when I know someone will always be better than me. The beauty of doing pottery is that I'm learning; everyone is different in their creating. You can buy a mug from any artist and it will always be different, even if we make a set and measure and count. Every piece is different. Doing markets has also encouraged me to claim being an artist because I've found my people who vibe with my vibe; it's always exciting to get hyped up when someone purchases a piece or just tells me how beautiful my pieces are. I'm an artist some days; it feels like I'm a pro, other days I'm like I shouldn't quit my day job. lol
