To all my consignors. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of having my business checking account compromised. A large unauthorized check was presented for payment a few days ago. While it was declined, the bank has put a watch on my account. Every check has to be manually cleared. First Financial has been wonderful helping me get a handle on the situation but today I received a call from a consignor whose check had been declined. This was done in error and I will be working with the bank to determine how this happened. At this time I get called twice a day regarding checks coming through the account. I ask all my consignors to please call the store should you experience any difficulties with any check received from us. My sincere apologies for this huge inconvenience. We all believe and hope that this will never happen to us but unfortunately after 10 years in the business we have been impacted by someone’s dishonesty.
