URGENT!! I HAVE NO PHONE Tried to wash it lasts night and now have no screen. Unable to get SIM card in town so have to wait for one to be mailed to me. This means I CANNOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS THIS WEEK Cash or Check only. Sorry for the inconvenience. Obviously I won't be answering the phone, reading or sending texts either.

I hope you are all staying warm at home!
With all this cold weather I have decided to keep the shop closed the rest of this week. We have no water and although this does not affect the shop it does affect our shower time!! Pretty grungy right now.

Hope you come by next week and see the new delivery of backings that arrived this morning. I'll open up the boxes this weekend.

Hello there, Just wanted to let you know that I'm offering specials during the months of March. All of our wide backs 108" & 118" are on sale at 15% off, and our quilt kits are at 40% off. The Fiber Co-op kits do include backing, binding and thread so that's a great deal! We'll be open regular hours but if you're out and about on a Monday or Tuesday call 325 262-5447 and we'll open up for you!

Hello fellow shoppers. We are still having problems with the leaky roof in the shop and Jerry is available this week to pull the ceiling down and deal with it. This means the shop will be closed this week to get it fixed!

EMERGENCY WILL ROGERS!!
Well now that the house in Ballinger is done (almost) the house cleaners never showed up this morning to give it it's final clean ready for closing.. I know that doesn't really make any difference to your life, but it does to mine!
I have to go to Ballinger today to clean it!
Not my idea of fun, but it has to be done.

Consequently, the shop will be closed today.

I will be open tomorrow, Saturday 11am - 6 pm for those of you that like to shop/peruse later in the day!!

Well, what a fun two days it was with the sale. Thanks to all who came and I wanted to say I appreciate your patience with cutting and checking out. I have learned that I do need to have a helper or two to be there for these sales. I have someone who's willing to participate so next time for the shop hop we'll have it all worked out!
I'd like to ask those of you that have christmas projects and have leftovers if you could save them for me and bring to the shop next time you visit through the year. I do crafting with small pieces of fabric, as small as 2"x2" and would love the scraps you would throw away so I have a bigger selection of fabrics. I use them to make crafted items for the foster kids and the more fabric I have the more things I can make for them.
The last I read there are over 700 foster kids in this area and obviously I cannot possibly make 700 of each item I make as I only work on them in October - December but I love to try my best to provide an assortment for all ages. Thank you and enjoy your christmas making, I really appreciate all of you. Vanessa
