Helllo quilters/crafters...just letting you know that we will not be meeting this month due to the hall at the church being rented out. It is also with heavy heart that I must tell you that I will no longer be doing this....I have done it since 2017 other than when I had to shut down for covid. I do want to thank everyone that ever came and helped to make our work days so much fun. I am shutting it down due to lack of participation. Most of the time now, I had maybe one or two people come.....there were other times (many of them) that no came. Not sure I will ever start it up again....sorry! Please remember how much fun I had doing this and meeting everyone. Sending all good things to everyone.

Tomorrow is quilting/crafting day from 10am till the last one leaves and we repeat the day on Saturday! Hope to see you there....for more info ...see previous quilting/crafting days as it is pretty much the same every month!

Hello quilters/crafters...this Friday and Saturday will be our quilting/crafting days for this month (Aug 18 & 19 ). It will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 7295 Kruse Rd, Petersburg, MI 49270. it starts at 10am on both days and goes till all leaves by 5 on . Bring whatever you want to work on and anything you need to work on it. I do provide and ironing board and iron, cutting mat, and I also let you use my rulers. Due to covid it is still a bring your own lunch and you also need to bring your own drinks.....I do have coffee available for anyone that wants it. I also have all the paper plates, cups and silverware available for you.
I do ask for a $5 freewill donation that goes to the church for the use of the hall and electric, etc. .You are able to leave your machine on Friday night to come back and work on Saturday if you choose (like a mini retreat). You do not need to reserve your space and anyone 18 or older is welcome to come. The hall is air conditioned if needed and we also have an elevator if you need it to get to the upper hall where we work.

Hello my fellow quilters/crafters....I know it has been a while but I am going to get our third Friday/Saturday of the month started up again. I have been very busy with things since had a meeting. I was helping out as a substitute cook at the Dundee Senior Center when there cook left. I also just bot back from a cruise for my 50th Anniversary (actual date is in September). We went to Hawaii and Alaska...gone for 17 days....had fun but not sure I want to be gone that long again. Enough of that....this Friday/Saturday (May 19th and 20) I will once again be hosting a quilting/crafting day at my church. All the old policies will be the same. I do have one new thing....I got a new cell phone and number...it is 734-597-7048. You can reach me there or my home # 734-856-5772 where I have an answering machine. I have also added my hubby to my page as he is the one on it most of the time....when I post...I will have my name after the post.
Where: Zion Lutheran Church , 7295 Kruse Rd, Petersburg, Michigan.
Time: begins at 10 am until we all decide to go home.....for those of you that come Friday, you can leave your machine overnight and come back the next day and also leave your supplies so all you have to bring back is yourself and anything else you may need to continue your work. I do ask for a $5 freewill donation that goes to the church to cover any expense that they have due to our being there. Once again....appreciated but not mandatory...it is a freewill offering and greatly appreciated. I will post more in another post due to the length of this post....sometimes it doesn't like long post. You do not need to reserve a spot.....anyone over the of 17 is welcome.

Hello quilters/crafters....I am canceling for tomorrow due to lack of interest, good fall weather (who wants to be inside on a final great day), and our elevator being down. This may have been our last day for a while due to the elevator being down. Thanks for all your support throughout the years, hoping to start up in the spring if more people are interested in doing this. Hope you all have a great holiday season.
