The wastebasket bee bin is my favorite 🐝 Bringing new function to old pieces is one of my favorite parts of owning a vintage shop. We had someone bring in a great collection of silverplated serveware & after giving it a nice polish (before and after polishing video coming soon!) I had a blast “merchandising” the pieces for more modern ways to give them function beyond hosting a feast for the ton.

It was not an easy task finding an affordable peel and stick floor that would compliment the rest of the shop AND compliment the original butter yellow & blue kitchen tile while also being flexible enough to handle the rotating art and vintage pieces we bring in throughout the year.

When I spotted this faux terrazzo peel and stick it clicked in my brain and I immediately know it was the one. I ordered and had it just in time to redo the floor on our literal 2-year anniversary of the Nouve Home Goods, a vintage home decor & gift shop boutique/storefront in downtown Salt Lake City.

I have this tile linked in my bio. There were two other tile options i really loved also available through that link. They both include a dusty blue and deeper rusty red.

We are in the final trial runs of our new candle scents!This last step is my favorite. After they’ve been mixed and poured we get to bring them home, light them up, see how good the scent throw is, make sure we don’t want to tweak any final fragrant notes and bug our friends to come over and tell us how they like it.

I cannot wait to share these candles with you - I may even throw a lil party for them at the shop. More details coming soon!

I’ve sold tessellated side tables in the past with their OG glass tops but this time around I used a rescued a pair cream fossil stone marble tops from old, unsalvageable wooden side tables I retrieved a few months before getting my hands on these tessellated beaut’s.

IMO the smaller more contained marble tops vs the original large glass tops give them an upgraded elevated look.

Even though these side tables already sold - they needed their moment on the grid.
