Making up a fun version of the Weston Quilt that only uses 8 fat quarters. 🤩 I had a gorgeous bundle of double gauze fabric that I wanted to use and it’s working out! No background fabric needed. Just 8 fat quarters for a baby size quilt.

I just realized that last week was the one year anniversary of the official launch of Sara Lucille Handmade and my first pattern release!! 🎉 I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I released the Uppercross patterns. What a wild ride it’s been for me and my little business!! I appreciate every like, comment, words of encouragement, pattern purchase and most of all seeing you guys turn my patterns into beautiful quilts!!! It’s seriously my favorite thing ever. 🤍

We’ve been visiting Southern Utah for Spring break and the views have been breathtaking! While driving to Bryce Canyon we passed through a beautiful place called Red Canyon because of all the gorgeous Red rock. immediately pulled over and insisted on some photos (and that’s why I love him). 🤍

It’s been a lovely (and eventful) Easter morning. I think this is the last year both of my girls can wear these beautiful dresses I made them. I’m trying to soak in all their little girl sweetness today! 💙

In other news, the morning started with a trip to the ER for …turns out he had a kidney stone! Poor guy. He’s feeling much better now thanks to modern medicine.

The colors of this quilt are like a warm summer night. The soft pinks and greens and golds are so pretty! brought this gorgeous version to life and she has kits available in her shop. 💕

I just realized I never shared this finished Barton Cottage Mini that I made last month. I used a few prints from the collection paired with speckled linen. Isn’t it sweet? 💕
