This piece is two pieces of glass sandwiched together with the wording decaled on the inner side of the glass. No backing, no wire. I didn't have any of the metal frame sawtooth attachments, so I suggested a nice cord of some sort.
She liked that idea. I took the universal metal hangers, spray painted them black on the front side, flipped them upside-down in the channel so they pointed up on the top rail, found some fancy black trim in my Box O' Stuff, added a narrow ribbon to the back, wrapped the ribbon around the raw ends of the trim and looped the ribbon through the hanger holes several times, wrapped it around the end of the trim again and sewed it in place.
Added a couple of fancy bows to the front to hide the ribbon on the loops.
Done.

A LARGE canvas, restretched and framed in a Floater Frame. The frame is like a high-sided "tray" like configuration. The canvas sits inside the frame and the frame touches the canvas only at the back. A cool abstract.
