We took a little time before spring hits the Willamette Valley and visited springtime in California. Just a few of our highlights were spending a day at world Ag expo and taking a tour of the NETAFIM USA factory who supplies us with a majority of our drip system components.

California agriculture is very impressive!

One other highlight- we toured a dairy farm that was blending fresh water and dairy effluent while utilizing SUB SURFACE DRIP irrigation as the delivery mechanism for feeding a variety of different crops!

Direct seed onion germination trial~

We knew that validating the concept of germinating onion with drip was going to have to be accomplished before we could advance into the next season with drip irrigation.
To say the results were a pleasant surprise would be an understatement!!!

This concept works perfectly, eliminating any soil compaction from overhead irrigation and any excess soil moisture saturation!
