After posting the # blackouttuesday post I was taught that it was not supported by the original creator of BlackOut.

Instead we are sharing a post to remind you that we will be making a donation from the proceeds of this shirt to Color Of Change, a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization started in 2005 by James Rucker and Van Jones following Hurricane Katrina.

This also covers the reasons why Mr. Jones is no longer part of the organization .

Color of Change has active campaigns for both George Floyd (here is the petition: https://buff.ly/3ey22SJ) and Ahmaud Arbery (petition here: https://buff.ly/2WzpRlD) The organization is committed to social change and as a 501(c)(4) they are also politically active (https://buff.ly/3cxFErm). Politics makes some people uncomfortable but one of the best ways to affect change is to enact legislation.

We will, as of the first sale, donate our profits until Juneteenth, June 19th.
