Watch the Ames waterproofing system taking shape! 💪
After properly cleaning and prepping the surface, it's time to apply Blue Max® Liquid Rubber and start building strength, durability, and long-term protection into the roof system.
Here's the next step:
✅ Apply Blue Max® Liquid Rubber at the recommended coverage rate and measure dry film thickness (DFT) to ensure proper coverage.
✅ Embed Ames Contouring Roof Fabric into a wet layer of Blue Max®, then immediately apply another wet layer over the fabric to fully saturate and encapsulate it. This reinforces seams, transitions, pe*******ons, and other critical areas.
✅ Allow the Blue Max® coating and fabric reinforcement to dry thoroughly.
✅ Depending on the roof type, substrate, and condition, additional coats of Blue Max® may be required to achieve the recommended film build and waterproofing performance. For maximum protection and complete fabric encapsulation, it is often best to return after drying and apply an additional coat of Blue Max®.
✅ Apply the first coat of Maximum-Stretch® topcoat, a UV-stable coating that delivers exceptional flexibility and weather resistance.
✅ Measure dry film thickness to verify the coating has been applied at the proper rate and allow it to dry thoroughly.
✅ Apply the second coat of Maximum-Stretch® for maximum protection and long-term performance.
