Each practitioner, healer, and artisan booth will have their own individual pricing for services and offerings.

Feel free to gather with us around the fire and join in the community drum circle — all are welcome to participate. Camping chairs are encouraged if you’d like to get cozy and stay awhile.

🦁✨The Lion's Gate Portal is often honored on 8/8, blending ancient symbolism with modern spiritual traditions.

Long before the phrase "Lion's Gate" existed, the ancient Egyptians honored the annual return of Sirius, the brightest star in our sky.

In ancient Egypt, the annual heliacal rising of Sirius, when the star first became visible before sunrise, marked an important seasonal turning point. Its return coincided with the Nile's life-giving flood, bringing renewal, fertility, abundance and the beginning of a new cycle.

The exact timing of Sirius' rising shifted depending on location and the passage of time, occurring in ancient Egypt around early to mid-July.

However, because of the precession of the equinoxes and calendar changes, Sirius now becomes visible much later.

Near Cairo/Giza, the heliacal rising generally falls between August 1 and August 3, depending on the exact observing conditions and calculation method.

Historically, the return of Sirius was observed over several days depending on where one stood upon the Earth. Today, many honor 8/8 as the symbolic heart of this season, weaving together the ancient Egyptian reverence for Sirius with Leo's invitation to lead from the heart and the modern numerological symbolism of the number eight.

Today, this season is inviting us to embody courage, creativity, and authentic self-expression with balance, empowerment, and conscious manifestation.

Whether you view it as an energetic portal or a powerful metaphor, perhaps the true gateway isn't found among the stars... but within.
