The beach is a special place. It's a place to show off, it's a place to share, and if you're lucky, you'll see something awesome while you're there. In July, we're bringing that summer party vibe to Tigard in our own twisted way with **Gothic Surf-o-Rama**! This is our first ever **two-day event.** We're bringing so many strange creators we're filling the Flux Event Center and taking over the sidewalk too! Slap on some sunscreen and stroll down our boardwalk of bizarre, step into our creator's cove, and support the strange side of local art.

**Community Day:** Thanks to the loyal support of our community, we're happy to host this weekend event with **free admission**.

**Special Hours**:
This event will run on **Saturday July 18th** and **Sunday July 19th**, from **11AM to 5PM**.
Vendor selection may vary between days.

Last week, I got a chance to visit the in Portland. This oddities and Curiousities shop is located in which is an awesome vintage mall full of all kinds of good finds. It's a great way to spend an afternoon or date exploring all the shops.

Today we went in with the goal of seeing one shopping in particular. The Mausoleum. Located in a hallway on the 2nd floor behind the library (not in the basement, I checked 😂) . The store is packed with stuff to look at. Jewelry, pins, clown noses, figurines, art, dead things, apparel, and more. New things, thrifted things, and created things. They are all here.

The shop owner, Barbara was great to speak with and has a passion for community that matches our own. The weekend before she had a side show act performance at the shop to entertain customers and I just saw that this Saturday you can take a class with to make your own vegan taxidermy that I briefly showed in the video! It's great to see a new shop like this in the community so make sure to stop by and take a look!

I do check out a lot of things like this in our community. Do you guys want to see more things like this or should I just stick to market biz? Let me know!

Be furry! Come out Strange and shop with local vendors. Listen to a tale from Davin of or get some flash ink from . There's no rush. Spend some time with the odd side of Salem.

Calling all mold breakers, fate changers, label stretchers and anyone still looking for the right time to take their mask off and let their true colors fly. Summer is here and we're Coming Out Strange! Join us for our first night market this year, as we set up in the heart of downtown and celebrate every kind of strange that makes the Cherry City shine. We're gathering over 40 proud creators, makers, and artists at The Grand for a night of color and community.

Applications are open for our June event - Coming Out Strange! If you've ever wondered if you would be a good fit for our market, please apply with us! We're not just spooky and dark. We're pastel and anime. We're retro and gaming. We're any art and crafts that doesn't quite fit the norm. Register your profile at our website and then apply to the event. It's easy!

It's almost time, Albany, Oregon! Marry Your Monster is this Saturday, May 2nd at from 11am-6pm! We'd like to share some of the amazing vendors that are joining us. Treats, bones, bugs, art, jewelry, up cycled clothing, prints, potions, hats... there's just so many different creators coming to this event! We hope you do too!

has been with us at our last two Eugene markets and they are such fun to watch and join in with! We're so excited to have them with us for the first time in Albany! We'll have a photo op area for some fun memories to make with your friends too!

Get your tickets at our website or in person. Human monies and plastic taken at the door. Creatures 12 and under are free. Community hour is free entry from 5-6pm.

Perfect is nice, I suppose, but have you seen the other side? There's something to love among the misfits, the outcasts, and the bizarre. Go looking with an open mind and you might find someone that makes you want to Marry Your Monster. Join us as we celebrate love in all it's strange forms, as we bring over 65 local artists and creators to Albany. Enjoy the enchanting dances of the , get a new tattoo from , and stage a pic to share at our monster matrimony photo scenes.

So we're inviting a bunch of our favorite authors to share their stories at our first market in 2026. Dark Desires & Twisted Tails is a dark fantasy themed oddities market full of treasures for those with more peculiar hearts. Listen to excerpts read by local authors, bring a few books home for your reading list, explore dozens of strange creations, and pick up a gift for those special someones in your life.
