One of the greatest obstacles to my Christian growth and success has been preachers that comforted me in my sin or treated it as trivial.

Isaiah 29:14
14 Therefore behold, I will again do a marvelous work in this people, even a marvelous work, and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall [l]perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

Note from the 1599 Geneva Bible
Meaning, that where as God is not worshipped according to his word, both magistrates and ministers are but fools and without understanding.

My comment: I read Isaiah 29 today. Israel, having lived for their glory instead of God’s had lost their understanding of God’s righteousness and holiness. As a result they, their ministers and magistrates had lost their understanding as well and the nation was in darkness. All is not lost, for God will and length, shine His light and expose their great sins and deliver His people.

God’s word is the only light which can reveal truth and lead to life. Read, study and search it out with a humble heart and reverence for God because your life and the lives of your family and nation depend on it.

The first petition in the Lord's prayer is, hallowed be Thy name.

The first priority and desire in the Christian's heart must be the magnifying and reverence of God's glory in Heaven and earth.

It should not surprise us if the anti-christian desires the opposite. Instead, they contemn God.

The current clash clearly manifests that the non Christian in not neutral, but inflamed against Christ.

It is time to stop debating and start proclaiming.

Time to stop doubting and start believing.

HAL'LOWED, participle passive Consecrated to a sacred use, or to religious exercises; treated as sacred; reverenced.

CONTEMNED, participle passive Despised; scorned; slighted; neglected, or rejected with disdain.

A mom will always love you more—
than your partner,
than your closest friends,
than you love her,
than anyone.
Because those people, yes, they do love you a lot,
maybe even “so much,”
but a mother’s love is incomparable.
Because it’s a different kind of love.
It’s a love that prioritizes your well-being above her own,
a love that's loud and so strong that, at times, she aches,
a love that changes with your needs, but it’s always there.
It’s a love that protects and supports.
Because she fell in love with you when you were just a thought
before she even met you,
before you were a small baby who fit on her chest.
And that kind of love that loves unconditionally is powerful.
Because no one else in this entire world will love you like that.
So, you can’t love more than a mom,
and you won’t understand until you become one.
