Happy National Book Lovers Day (and Women in Translation Month)! 📚🌍💚

This owner took the day off to celebrate and left the store in good hands with Darah and Tyler.

Started Book Lovers Day by the pool with a coffee and a re-read of The Enchanted April. I recently recommended to someone and it reminded me how this classic beautifully captures Italy in spring, and how nature and friendship have the ability to heal💚💚💚💚💚

Moved inside to work on a puzzle and switched to Libro.fm to listen to Woman at Point Zero. Translated from Arabic to English this feminist classic is based on a real life prisoner on death row in Cairo. The narration is incredible and matches the haunting themes of the writing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
