A message for shops, musicians and teachers: don't sell, buy or encourage your students to buy
" disposable bows"! These are bows that are so cheap and poorly made that when it's time for a rehair, they are just thrown away and replaced with a new one. This practice is a tremendous waste of hardwood species that are dwindling worldwide at an alarming rate. Let's work together for the future sustainable use of woods used in instrument and bow making.
