I'm rolling out all the best ingredients for my end of year products. Kombo butter is a super healing butter perfect for dry or irritated skin conditions.

Hey FB family. I'm looking for 20 generous people to help sponsor families for the upcoming holidays. The amount estimated per family of 6 is about $300. More information forthcoming.

These are families that are facing hardship and domestic violence or other violence in their homes and are part of an organization I serve. In the past few years, my siblings and I have opted to sponsor a family instead of doing sibling gifts and I suggest this as an option to support folks in our community who are struggling. It is also a great way to give back and model for your families another non-material and meaningful way to contribute. It is also a tax deductible activity!

I've been experimenting with silicons in my cream products because I am looking to make waterproof beauty items.

Silicones are best known for their occlusive properties, which is a fancy way of saying that they form a barrier-like coating on the skin that’s resistant to both water and air.

*For acne-prone skin, silicones can act as a ‘barrier’ and trap oil, dirt, and dead skin cells, making acne worse so if you are having skin issues, see if silicone is the culprit.

I recently formulated this lovely cream blush that reminds me a lot of the Chanel lip and cheek balm. I tested it by splashing some water on my face and it actually stayed.

The ingredients for my cream cheek and lip balm is:

1 tbsp siliconyl polyethylene
1/2 tbsp yellow beeswax
1/2 tbsp mango butter
1 tbsp glycerin
1.5 tbsp castor oil
1 tbsp marula oil
1 tbsp colloidal oatmeal
1/4 tbsp of mica (Up the Hill from TKB)

The ingredients for the Chanel:

Made some mini 3ml roller balls for pack and go cuticle oils. Made with luxurious jojoba and argan oils, castor oil and lavender plus tea tree essential oils. These oils are known for their antibacterial and antifungal properties. Cuticle oils help to protect and soften nail beds and cuticles.
