A customer at Terrace Horticultural Books earlier this week asked to take photos in the shop for a post she wanted to do. We are delighted this is what appeared on Instagram later. Yesterday, Good Friday, it was a steady stream of customers all afternoon. We will be back at the shop M-F. noon to 5pm or by appointment 612-963-1666, 503 St. Clair Ave, St. Paul. I am counting our blessings here at THB and offer thanks for your support. Wishing you the best for your Holidays and the coming year!

We have been busy receiving some fabulous collections of new material. In particular we are excited about new additions of collectible fine bindings in the garden book category. We are late for Christmas shopping and are offering a POST CHRISTMAS SALE of 20% off on all material in stock.

The sale will start on Saturday December 27 and run through January 10th. Our normal hours of M-F Noon to 5pm are extended to Saturday noon to 5. If you wish to view stock in our second floor Rare Book Rooms, please make an appointment. Appointment can be made for AM hours or as agreed.

After three months of remodeling and shelf relocations, THB is reopening initially by appointment the day after Christmas 12-26 thru the New Year holiday by appointment call 612-963-1666. Starting 1-2-25 we will resume our regular hours noon to 5 PM M-F except when called away. Good to call and check and thank you . Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Terrace Horticultural Books is exhibiting at the RainTaxi Bookfair Tomorrow Oct. 19 Saturday from 10am to 5pm State Fair Grounds in the Progress Center. This annual fabulous book event is FREE to all! Many new authors and book organizations as well as our local used booksellers will be available. While we are remodeling at THB, with exciting new improvements, the website remains open, but we are essentially closed to visitors for the next 4-5 weeks.

Rain Taxi’s Twin Cities Book Festival is the annual Minnesota gathering for readers, writers, publishers, and purveyors of literature.

Congratulations America on this 4th of July Holiday 2024. Best wishes to all of our loyal customers. Everyone is invited to the Minnesota Antiquarian Bookfair July 12 and 13 at Hamline University. Full details are available at https://minnesotaantiquarianbookfair.wordpress.com/
Previously held at St. Thomas University and the State Fairgrounds, approximately 40 dealers from around the country gather to offer their best of Antiquarian and useful books and related material. Terrace Horticultural Books will have lots of new to the market rare material on display including many manuscripts, and our great stock of gardening, botany and natural history. Added this year will be interesting new acquisitions in physics, medicine, sciences and mathematics. Sometimes great and interesting material comes to us, such as this print we are bringing In honor of this July 4th. We will have available a framed 1941 color print of the classic Freedom Flag.
