Pho Basil 🌿

This is the fragrance that I won't get again. Not because it wasn't liked by customers, but because it was so loved that it sold out in one day! Unfortunately, the fragrance company created this as a limited scent. I didn't realize how much I would love it and only ordered a small 8 oz bottle. By the time I went back to order more online, they stopped producing it 😑😔

This basil scent smelled like the ones from the garden and freshly plucked to use in pho. It also had an earthy scent that smelled so crisp/fresh.

I miss you, basil pho. If the fragrance oil ever gets restocked, I'm making one candle for myself 💚🧡

Making Honest Decisions As a Business Owner:

Once upon a time, I made candles like these. What a beauty they are.

I combined my love for herbs, florals, crystals, and fragrance all in one product. These candles made me a lot of money and were super popular with customers.

But the truth is, it was all too much in one container. Having to constantly remind customers to remove the larger flowers and crystals wasn't the issue. It was the 'what if' they forgot to do that. I couldn't sleep at night without worrying if my candles were going to burn down someone's home.

So I made the big decision to remove all dried plants from candles. I still negotiated with myself to keep crystals, but I used smaller crystal chips and tumbles instead.

I noticed quickly that without the dried florals, the newer designed candles were not getting as much attention. I was bummed about that. Candles were usually my winning item, but it didn't felt like that anymore.

However, my gut instinct told me that I still made the right decision. I chose safety over profit.

As a business owner, we have to assess our performance and product routinely. I am privileged and honored that people choose to shop with Dreamy Tango 💚🧡 The least I can do for them is to continue to uphold my business values.

This is by far the fan favorite from the general candle collection, Love Story 🫶

✨️The fragrance is reminiscent of a romantic date night under the stars. Woody, floral rose, black amber, vanilla...yummy notes that appeals to all genders.

⭐️ Customer compliments:
"It's easy on my nose."
"Ouuu, this scent smells so goooood!"
"Wow..."

I can't believe that I'm down to just 1 left 😩

As I have mentioned before, I will not be making anymore of these candles as my business is moving into a new, evolved direction. This fragrance blend is going to be sticking around for new projects though.

I was so immersed with the Edge Life Reawakened Events that I forgot to take a nice photo of myself and booth!

At this event, many crystals that have been with me for 3-4 years finally went to their new homes! It's always so bittersweet to me, because crystals travel a long journey before going to their true owners. I'm just a temporary home for them. Every time I pay extra close attention to a particular crystal before setting it up to sell, they always end up being sold!

I would like to think it's their way of saying, "Thank you for housing me, but it's time for me to go."

I'm taking a time period to rest and recover from the many life surprises. As most small business owners can understand, running a business can take up so much time away from self, family, and friends (on top of already having another full-time job). I feel at peace taking a break and coming back to rebrand Dreamy Tango when I'm ready. I will be not responding or engaging on my social media pages, but please know that new ideas are brewing behind the scenes.
