Does anyone happen to know an Andrew Sampson (b. 1947) or Patricia Tardiff Sampson (b. 1948)? Someone donated some very personal and important family/historical documents of theirs. We would love to get these back to the family.

We are in need of some able-bodied volunteers! We could use some people to help sort donations on Mondays; we really need someone to help distribute food at our pantry on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and we could use an experienced cashier (or someone willing to learn) on Thursdays. All volunteer hours are 8 AM to 12 noon. You can find us at 232 N. Mill Street in downtown Saint Louis. Pick up an application Monday-Friday, from 9-11:45 AM. It’s that time again: CHRISTMAS IN JULY! Grab some out-of-season gems over the next three weeks. We will be restocking every day, so “new” stuff will be regularly appearing. Shop Tuesday through Thursday mornings from 9-11:45, at 232 N. Mill Street in downtown Saint Louis. (Due to the extreme heat, we are asking people to please NOT donate this week.)

If you do not have a safe place this week to beat the heat, PLEASE contact Gratiot County Central Dispatch at 989-875-7505. Let them know your name and number and that you need a cool place to stay during the day when the heat is the worst. They will direct you where to go that is closest to you.
