12 years ago today we opened this little boutique with the hopes of making a difference in the retail world. That even just a handful of people would learn about human trafficking and fair trade and be more apt to purchase more “for purpose” gifts and items. We are so thrilled to still be here on this SJ downtown strip and learning, always learning. Thank you SJ for keeping us alive. We love our community ! Thankful + Hopeful - Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours !

There has been a whirlwind of change in the last year with our sister stores shifting ownership and deciding to pivot as business, economy and our own days change. We've added two boys to our family and as much as we love to keep business separate from family, it's all become a beautiful dance and embroidery of the two. Small business is no joke as the economy shifts with so much uncertainty through the years on whether we will come out the other end, but we are grateful through it all. We are so grateful for our sweet, small town, our wonderfully supportive customers and so hopeful for what the future holds!

It is our shop’s 11 year anniversary in our brick and mortar location in downtown SJ and we could not be more grateful than we are now of our time here. With shops and restaurants that come and go, we are thankful and hopeful for every moment we’re here and so overjoyed for all your support for local retail. We have and will always believe shops and restaurants make a huge dent in every cities’ unique culture and we love being a part of that. So thank you and happy anniversary b4f fam!
