Nepal Follow Up:

Sent Daniel funds to get projector and speaker to play the Jesus film in villages that most cannot read. He still needs a printer for gospel tracts (doing fundraiser soon if you would like to help, as he is almost out of tracts). Please pray for souls to be saved through the Jesus film. It teaches salvation by grace through faith alone in the blood payment Jesus made for our sins at Calvary. This film has reached most of the world and it will be a great tool to attract people in Nepal. Many are scared to talk about Christianity; let's pray that a film will draw people in that cannot read a tract and are too scared to talk about the gospel in these dangerous villages near India. Also, pray for their safety; I can tell you first hand taking Daniel there the first time that it is dangerous. Pray that several men will go with him for his protection.

It would mean a lot to send our brother in Nepal some encouragement and letting him know you are praying for him ( Daniel Chaudhary )

The Lord has already shown fruit: One confirmed salvation and over half a dozen new Christians witnessing that had not had the courage to do so before. Glory to God!

1. Flood Legends
Ancient historians, such as Josephus, wrote that the Ark existed. Marco Polo also wrote that the Ark was on a high mountain in Armenia. Over a dozen other Christian and Jewish leaders claimed the Ark was preserved before A.D. 1700. In fact, the worldwide flood is one of the most well-known legends ever written. Nearly every ancient culture has legends describing a catastrophic flood, which only a few humans survived by a big boat. There are at least 500 flood legends across the world!

2. Clams on Mt. Everest
Petrified clams have been found in the closed position on the top of Mt. Everest. When clams die, they open immediately. Since the top of Mt. Everest is about 450 miles from the nearest beach, the only explanation for this is a massive flood raising the mountain.

3. Fossil Evidence
Fossilization does not often occur today; it takes quick death and burial, with a lot of pressure. Most of the carbon in the world today is buried within fossils. A worldwide flood had to happen to cause this much fossilization. This also tells us that the pre-flood world had a ton of creation. There are some fossils that prove they had to be buried and fossilized quickly, such as a fish fossilized while still trying to swallow another fish.

4. Polystrate Trees
These are trees that go through several rock layers, many of which are upside down. These show that the “geologic column” is not an accurate dating system. The fact these trees did not decompose while layers of rock formed around them indicates a massive flood. A ton of water would be required to layer that many strata around trees.

5. Water on Earth
If the earth was leveled flat, there is so much water it would cover the earth over 8800 feet deep.

6. Mountains Rising
There is evidence for mountains building just as the Bible talks about (Psa 104:8), the term is called “orogeny.” Plateaus are mainly flat regions that have lifted hundreds of feet over the regions surrounding them. The Bible description of mountains rising and valleys sinking from the flood is the only explanation.

7. Mid-Oceanic Ridge
This is the world’s largest mountain range at 46,000 miles. Most of the ridge lies on the ocean floor!

8. Submarine Canyons
There are hundreds of these canyons on the ocean floor, some even larger than the Grand Canyon. One is so big the length would almost cover the United States!

9. Seamount Corals
Seamount corals grow close to the surface of the sea. They cannot grow below 200 feet; the fact they exist below that depth support a large flood that changed the sea level. Over 30% of the oceans are above these seamounts.

10. Continental Shelves
Continental Shelves indicate there was a massive flood.

11. Volcanoes Under the Sea
Volcanoes have been found hundreds of feet below the sea.

12. Bent Rocks
Around the world, there is rock that is buckled and folded on itself. The bends in these rocks look like they were formed out of clay. Most of these rocks don’t have fracture lines, which would have happened if they were bent while hardened. This shows they were folded and squeezed together not long after the sediments were laid before they hardened.

Evidence to Support God May Have Used an Ice Meteor:

1. Ice Rings around Planets
Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune have rings around them made of ice. No other theory I have seen (discussed next lesson) better explains why they have rings of ice that have not separated by now.

2. Craters on Mars
There are huge craters on mars, yet we never see mars hit by anything. Craters on other planets as well. One theory suggests that the supersonic explosion of water from inside of earth could have sent debris to space, which is also very possible.

3. Mammoths Froze Rapidly
In Alaska and Siberia, dozens of mammoths and some rhinoceroses were found frozen and buried. One mammoth had food still in its mouth and food undigested in the stomach. Even if the sun stopped shining, the earth’s temperature would not fall rapidly enough to cause this. The temperature had to be around 300-400 degrees below zero for mammoths to freeze that fast.

4. Snow in Antarctica
Very little snow falls in the Antarctic. As far as how much it rains or snows, it is the driest continent on the planet. However, there is ice in Greenland over a mile deep and up to 5 miles in Antarctica.

5. Tilt on Earth’s Axis
An astronomer named George F. Dodwell collected 100 astronomical measurements, made over a 4,000-year period, to study the change in the tilt of earth’s axis. The measurements showed the change of the tilt and revealed that the axis shift began around the year 2345 B.C.

Isa 45:18- “God himself that formed the earth…He formed it to be inhabited.”

The earth today is around 70% under water. Only about 3% of the earth is habitable for humans. The earth today is clearly different than the way God originally made it. The worldwide flood changed the earth dramatically. Most of the water covering earth today was a result of the flood. The amount of coal in the earth couldn’t be produced with the plants on earth today; there were a lot more plants on the earth before the flood.

Gen 1:29- “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of the earth, and every treen in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”

The climate was like spring on most of the earth. Before the flood, the earth was not on a tilt the way it is today (explained later in this study). The earth had a spring-like climate which allowed trees and plants to grow all over, even in Antarctica. Trees have also been found less than 250 miles from the south pole. Redwood forests buried with trees over 100 feet long, with roots showing they grew in place, have been found inside the Arctic Circle. The first mention of cold in the Bible is after the flood in Gen 8:22. The “ice age” caused by the flood indicates a very warm climate. A lot of snowfall would have been required and that can only happen if the oceans are warm enough to produce the amount of evaporation needed.

Before the flood, humans and animals were vegetarian. Humans and animals lived in peace together before the flood. One day when Christ returns to the earth, that condition will be restored. Wolves and lambs will lay together, children and lions walk together; the animals will once again be vegetarian (Isa 11:6-7).

Gen 9:1-2- “And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth…”

After the flood, humans and animals began to eat living creatures. The consequences of the flood did not just change the earth, but the nature of animals as well.

The earth has water on it, water above it, but also water inside of it. The biggest objection for the flood is due to misunderstanding how the flood happened. When it rains, heat is released. This is known as latent heat of condensation. If it rained enough to cover Mt. Everest, it would have cooked the world. That objection is assuming that Mt. Everest was there before the flood and assuming that the water that covered the earth all came from rain. This was not the case; the Bible says that 15 cubits high is all it took to cover the mountains (Gen 7:20). This objection that the earth couldn’t have been flooded enough to cover Mt. Everest was used by Bill Nye in a debate. He claims he read the Bible through twice… he either didn’t read the Bible, is not very smart (that is a given), or he is lying about the Bible’s account to support his views (another given).

In the next study on this topic, we will investigate the 3 ways that water covered the earth, the multiple theories as to how animals got so large (Rhinoceros at 26 feet long, 18 feet tall- over 4 times the weight of an elephant today), theories to ice in space, giants 18 feet tall, and how dinosaurs fit into history and the Bible.

The transfer went through, and Robert Opolot was able to buy the Ox! Thank you all for praying. Robert provided pictures of the Ox and proof of transaction to encourage all who prayed for him to receive this blessing. Proof 4 Faith ministry is honored to help this man, he loves the Lord and loves the orphan children he provides for. He has never asked for any financial help, only prayer. Jesus said in John 3:3, “...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
1 Pet 1:23 says this new birth is of incorruptible seed, by the word of God (not water baptism).

WHY WE NEED TO BE BORN AGAIN
We are born into sin:
Psa 51:5- “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”

Sin passed down from Adam:
Romans 5:12- “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

God made man in HIS image, but after Adam sinned- we have been born in Adam’s image:
Genesis 5:3- “And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in HIS OWN LIKENESS, and after HIS IMAGE; and called his name Seth:”

This image we are born with is a body, soul, and DEAD spirit. Adam’s spirit died THE DAY he ate:
Genesis 2:17- “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for IN THE DAY that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN:
Being born again of the Holy Spirit is through faith (Eph 1:13) in the blood payment of the Lord Jesus Christ for our sins (Rom 3:25).
Once we lay down our righteousness, turn to God to trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation (Rom 10:3)- God gives us HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS (2 Cor 5:21).

Col 2:13- “And you, being dead in your sins… hath he quickened (brought spirit to life) together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”
John 1:12- "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"
Acts 16:31- “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…”

PROOF FOR BIBLE INSPIRATION

PROPHECIES:

Over 800 prophecies are written in the Bible. About 300 of them have already come to pass and roughly 500 more to come. 48 prophecies about Jesus’ first coming were all fulfilled. The chances of that happening mathematically are 1/10 with 157-0’s after! The 1st prophecy written about the birth of Christ was over 3,000 years before He was born.

SCIENTIFIC FACTS:

Luke 17:30, 34- Day and night all the time, and at the same time, on the earth.

Isaiah 40:22- Earth is round (2,000 years before Columbus sailed).

Job 37:7- Every man can be identified by unique fingerprints (every fingerprint and every snowflake is unique- ask an evolutionist to explain those).

Job 38:19- Light travels. The “place” of darkness is anywhere there is no light, since it’s absence of light.

Job 38:22- Snow has monetary value. 2-foot snow fall has about $8.14 worth of ammonium nitrates in it, not to mention many trace elements.

Job 38:33- There are natural laws that regulate the universe itself and all the planets and stars.

Job 38:35- Light/electrical energy would travel and speak (telephone, television, internet).

Job 28:25- Air has weight.

1 Corinthians 15:41- Each star is different.

Hebrews 11:3- Creation made of Elements invisible to the eye (atoms).

Job 25:5- The moon does not give its own light.

Genesis 15:5, 22:17- The stars can’t be counted.

Genesis 1:3, Psa 74:16- Cosmic Light.

Job 26:7- Earth is suspended in space.

Psalm 102:25-27- Entropy Increases.

Jonah 2:3-6- Sea mounts.

Job 38:16, Proverbs 8:28- Sea Springs.

2 Samuel 22:16- Channels of the sea (1st under sea trench/channel discovered in 1873) and submarine canyons.

Psalm 135:7- Teaches evaporation and tells us that lightning causes rain- Job 38:25-26.

Psalm 8:8- Ocean currents.

Ecclesiastes 1:6-7- Wind (blows in cyclones) and water cycles (evaporation, condensation, etc. known in 1000 B.C.).

MEDICAL FACTS:

Genesis 17:10-12- Circumcision on 8th day (blood clotting reaches peak this day in baby, then drops).

Psalm 104:15- Grape juice, olive oil, and whole grain breads are loaded with vitamins-all of which strengthen the heart muscle. B-complex vitamins are called the happy vitamins, as they strengthen the nervous system-they cause a general feeling of well-being and give a youthful look (make face shine).

Leviticus 15:13- Running water to clean. The necessity of running water for sanitation wasn’t discovered by man until the early 1800’s. (this is 14 centuries before the birth of Christ. 18 centuries after now, that’s 32 centuries behind the Bible).

Jeremiah 14:6- The nutrients in green vegetables are good for the eyes.

Leviticus 17:11- Blood is source of life (bloodletting was a medical practice in America until the late 1700's-1800's).

Leviticus 13- Quarantine (following this during plagues would have saved many lives throughout history).

NUMERICS:

Numbers have significant meaning in the Bible. A single number, two numbers added together, two numbers multiplied together, and even compound numbers all have significance that are incredibly consistent throughout scripture, in a way that only God could organize. The Bible is compiled of manuscripts written on 3 continents over a period of 1800 years. There are over 5,000 Greek manuscripts of the New Testament alone. Nothing in history comes close to that amount of historical evidence. The Bible contains 66 books, 1,189 chapters, 31,102 verses. The Bible was the first book printed on a printing press in the 1450’s. The longest chapter is Psalm 119, which magnifies the word of God nearly every verse (176 verses, which is 16x11= 1611 KJV). As you read these, if there is any question that you think man could have done this- mathematicians have claimed it is absolutely impossible what God did with numbers. Clearly, with God all things are possible. Just a few:

The #9 means fruitfulness in the Bible. 1611 King James Holy Bible: 1611 (1+6+1+1=9), King James= 9 letters, Holy Bible= 9 letters. 9 months are spent in the womb. 9th chapter of Genesis says, “be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth.” 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit, written in Galatians- the 9th book of the New Testament. Galatians has 9 letters, the place the fruits are listed is chapter 5 verse 22 (5+2+2=9).

The #7 means perfection/completion in the Bible. There are 7 gospels, 7 baptisms, 7 mysteries, 7 resurrections, 7 judgments, 7 sevens (the ways God has chronologically dealt with man). The Bible has been purified 7 times (Psalm 126:6-7); 7 processes of purification to form the English Bible are 1. Hebrew, 2. Aramaic, 3. Greek, 4. Old Syriac, 5. Old Latin, 6. German, 7. English. There are 7 purifications in the English, from the right manuscripts, to form the KJV Bible- 1. Coverdale, 2. Great, 3. Matthews, 4. Tyndale, 5. Bishops, 6. Geneva, 7. KJV. The Bible has 31,102 verses (3+1+1+0+2=7). The middle of the Bible is 2 verses- Psalm 103:1-2 (1+0+3+1+2=7)- “Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:” These verses have 28 words (7x4). The #7 appears 287 times in the Old Testament Hebrew (41x7). Sevenfold appears 7 times. Seventy appears 56 times (8x7). The 1st verse has 28 letters (7x4).

5 is the number of death in the Bible. The word death=5 letters. Christ had 5 wounds and 5 garments parted. The word devil=5 letters. The word Satan=5 letters. Genesis 5:5 is the first death of natural causes. Exodus 27:1- the altar was 5x5. Hitler’s ID card was 555 (next ruler up is 666).

Not only can you get Numerics from one language, but God also took Hebrew and Greek translated to English and STILL made the English do “impossible” Numerics. He led Isaiah to write the entire Bible layout in his book, including which chapter to divide the Old and New Testament. The Bible says that the word of God is ALIVE. A study showing this is coming soon. You will see how the “scriptures” are speaking to Pharaoh before any scriptures were ever written. How the word of God can see and discern the thoughts and intents of the heart. This incredible book is not just the past, present, and future history of this earth and eternity; this Book is living and powerful and the key to growing a relationship with the Lord. The key to understanding and unleashing the power in the word of God is your belief. You have got to understand that the word of God is perfect today. Most Christian schools teach their students there is no perfect word of God today. This is unthinkable. God said he would preserve his word perfect unto every generation and Christian “scholars” are teaching these students that God is a liar. They usurp that authority over the word of God by telling the students the originals are the only perfect word of God. They then have license to correct the word of God where they see fit. Allowing someone to take your faith in God’s word is the biggest loss you could suffer as a Christian. Watch the video below titled, “The Bible is Alive” to make sure that nobody does that to you. The Bible is the most powerful thing on this earth- it is the final authority.

INSPIRATION THROUGH LANGUAGES:

1st verse in the Bible, written in Hebrew, Genesis 1:1- “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (10 words, 44 letters, 17 vowels, 27 consonants). Last verse in the Bible, written in Greek, Rev. 22:21- “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” (12 words, 44 letters, 17 vowels, 27 consonants). The verse in the Bible that reveals the author: 1 John 5:7- “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (22 words, 34 vowels, 88 letters, 54 consonants). That is the exact math of the 1st and last verse of the Bible added together, translated from 2 different languages into English. Important note: most of these and other Numerics only work in the LIVING, PRESERVED, PERFECT KJV Bible that was given by inspiration of God in the English language.

The Bible says there is EVIDENCE for Biblical faith (Heb 11:1) and these proofs are important to know in order to see that the Bible is the word of God. The most important thing to know is where you will spend eternity when you die. The Bible is the only book in the world that says you can know where you are going when you die. The Bible says that we are all sinners (Rom 3:23) that cannot go to heaven in our sin. God is just and must judge sin; the payment for our sin is hell (Rev 21:8). God is also love, so he decided to make the payment for us (Rom 5:8). God was manifest in the flesh (1 Tim 3:16) and took the sin of the world upon himself (2 Cor 5:21). The Bible says that the blood payment Jesus made is the only thing that can take away our sin (Col 1:14). In 1 Cor 15:1-4, we see the gospel by which we are saved. It states that Christ died, was buried, and rose again the third day. Believing the gospel is how we are saved. The Bible states that our faith is how our sin is imputed (attributed) to Jesus Christ and how God’s righteousness is imputed to us (Rom 3:25, Phil 3:9). This is called a free gift of grace in Ephesians 2:8-9 and says there are NO WORKS involved in salvation. We simply believe in the payment Jesus Christ made as the atonement for our sin and receive the gift of salvation by faith (1 John 1:12). Every other religion in the world is going about to establish their own righteousness in order to get to heaven (Rom 10:3). Jesus paid the price on the cross and said, “IT IS FINISHED” (John 19:30). The ONE sacrifice needed for ALL for EVER was made (Heb 10:12). Now all you must do is repent from trusting YOUR righteousness to get you to heaven (your good works, prayers, baptism, quitting sins) and turn to God and put your faith in Jesus Christ to receive HIS righteousness (Acts 20:21). The Bible says that with the heart man believes unto righteousness (Rom 10:10). Faith alone is how you are born again (1 Jn 1:12), which is when you receive the Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13) which is sealed in you until Christ redeems you (Eph 4:30). All you must to do get saved is receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour through faith in the payment he made for you.

Acts 16:30-31- “…Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…”

👨‍🏫 ☀️🌕 Solar System Confirms the Bible 🌎⭐️👨‍🏫

Psalm 19:1- “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.”

The trinity is revealed in God’s creation:
• Romans 1:20- “For the invisible things of him from the creation are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”
The sun has different light rays. Light you can see but not feel (Jesus’ resurrected body). Light rays you can feel but not see (the Holy Spirit). Light rays you can’t see or feel (God the Father-the soul of God).

Jesus Christ= The Sun, The Church= The Moon
• The sun and the moon travel the opposite direction as this earth. When a Christian (moon) is following the Saviour (sun), that Christian is moving contrary to this world. When the earth gets between the sun and the moon, there is a lunar eclipse that causes darkness. The earth blocks the sun’s light to the moon. The moon is a dead planet that merely reflects the light of the sun. A Christian was dead in trespasses and sins, then the true light quickened the dead and gives them the light (his word) to share the true light (Jesus Christ) with the world. The Sun gives light to the moon and the moon reflects light to the earth.

Jesus as the sun that gives light:
• John 1:9- “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”
• Mal 4:2- “But unto you that fear my name shall the SUN of righteousness arise with healing in his wings.”

The church= the moon that reflects the light of the sun:
• Song of Solomon 6:10- “Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun…”
• Matthew 13:43- “Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father…”

Jesus comes back in the night, just as the SUN comes up in the morning:
• 2 Pet 3:10- “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…”
They accused Jesus as being a thief, crucifying him between 2 thiefs. So Jesus comes back “as a thief” in the night. The Sun goes down blood red (Christ died for our sins), then raises again blood red (Garments dipped in blood- Isa 63, Rev 14, 19). The blood red sun comes up red in the morning- the 4th watch. The Jewish night has 4 watches:
• Mark 13:35- “Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning”
1st (even)= 6-9. 2nd (midnight)= 9-12. 3rd (cockcrowing)= 12-3. 4th (morning)= 3-6.
• Psalm 30:5- “…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

The morning star is Jesus:
• KJV- Rev 22:16- “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am…the bright and morning star.”
• NIV- Rev 22:16- “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am…the bright Morning Star.”

I give both versions to point out that the NIV that clearly defines Jesus is the morning star in Rev 22:16 states that the morning star is the one that fell from heaven. NIV states Jesus fell from heaven in Isa 14:12.
• KJV- Isa 14:12- “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning…”
• NIV- Isa 14:12- “How have you fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn…”

There are many reasons to stick to the KJV; I would never trust in a book that says Jesus fell from heaven. The NKJV has a satanic symbol for the trinity in the front of their version when the Bible says in Acts 17:29 man shouldn’t even make a symbol for the trinity. Stick to the KJV, the preserved scriptures given by inspiration of God in the English language.

A star in you:
• 2 Peter 1:19- “…as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:”
When the Sun of righteousness- the bright and morning star comes back for his children, the day star ARISES in us to meet Him in the air. Sealed with that Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. In the rapture, when our bodies are changed to that of his glorious body and we meet him in the air (1 Cor 15:52).

The “hate” referenced is used as a comparative phrase- Matthew 10:37- “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me…” Genesis 29:31- “And when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.” In the Old Testament, it went so far people killed their own kinfolk- Exodus 32:27- “…go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour” (Mohammed copied this for his own religion in Sura 4:69, 80, 72:23). In the New Testament, it means a Christian needs to put Jesus Christ’s will ahead of his family or his own will.

THE PURPOSE OF LIFE (1st Sermon God gave me & through preaching it, I knew I was called to preach)

Rev. 4:11- “…for thou hast created all things, and FOR THEY PLEASURE they are and were created.”
The purpose of this life is to please our creator. Below is a list of what the Bible says gives God pleasure:

Righteousness
Isa 42:21- “The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake…”
Psalm 51:19- “Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness…”
Our problem is that none is righteous, no not one (Romans 3:10). God is holy and evil can’t dwell with him (Psalm 5:4). Because of this, the wicked shall be turned into hell (Mark 9:43). But God does not have pleasure in the death of the wicked:
Ezekiel 18:23- “Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? Saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?”
2 Peter 3:9- “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Saving us:
Luke 12:32- “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
This is done through repenting FROM our righteousness (Romans 10:3) knowing we deserve to pay for our sins and are not righteous enough to dwell with God- and repenting TO trusting Jesus Christ to receive HIS righteousness (Acts 20:21, 2 Corinthians 5:21). Faith (Romans 10:10) in his payment for our sin is what gives us HIS righteousness (Romans 3:25), that we may be saved and dwell with him.

His Son and His Son’s Sacrifice:
His Son (also Matt. 12:18, 17:5; Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22, 2 Peter 1:17):
Matthew 3:17- “…This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Colossians 1:19- “For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;”
His Sacrifice:
Isa. 53:10- “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin…He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied…”
That kind of love is unfathomable. God desires so much to dwell with you and me for eternity that he took pleasure in the sacrifice of his Son. God is just and must judge sin- so if you reject Christ and his payment for your sin, you will have to pay for your sin. But God is so loving that he made the way for you to be righteous when you couldn’t be righteous enough to escape hell and dwell with him on your own.

His Word:
Isaiah 55:11- “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Psalm 138:2- “…for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”

His People, but not the lost:
Psalm 149:4- “For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people…”
Rom. 8:8-9- “So then they that are IN THE FLESH cannot please God.” But ye are not IN THE FLESH, but IN THE SPIRIT, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you…” (referencing the spiritual circumcision- cutting away of the body from the soul, which happens to all that get saved causing them not to be IN THE FLESH. Then they are given the Holy Spirit sealed in them)

Showing us His Will:
Ephesians 1:9- “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself…”

Giving us a Spiritual Gift:
1 Corinthians 12:18- “But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.”

Our Prosperity:
Psalm 35:27- “Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”

Our Faith:
Hebrews 11:6- “But without faith it is impossible to please him…”

Our Praise:
Psalm 69:30-31- “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lord…”

Those that fear him:
Psalm 147:11- “The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.”
Isaiah 66:2- “…but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.”

Us seeking wisdom:
1 Kings 3:10-13- “And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding hearth; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour…”

Our Tithe (“Communicate” means to give- 1 Timothy 5:17-18, Philippians 4:14-18):
Hebrews 13:16- “But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
Galatians 6:6- “Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.”

Making his children soldiers:
2 Timothy 2:4- “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”

The foolishness of preaching (our faithfulness to witness):
1 Corinthians 1:21- “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”

One day giving us a new spiritual body:
1 Corinthians 15:38- “But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.”
Philippians 3:21- “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body…”

This life is not about us, it is about the Lord Jesus Christ. Him reigning as king, him lifted up, his word lifted up, and that his children one day live in perfect righteousness glorifying him. That is why he gave us his very own righteousness (those that have received Christ). But look at this list: this is every situation in the Bible, that I can find, that has "pleasure" "please" and "pleased God" referenced above. How many are about you? Jesus said he came to give us life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). That was his "WHY" when he lived on earth. You know what your "why" is? To love God and love others. Period (Matthew 22:37-39). How focused are you on that? What is in your life that is distracting you from that? The God of all creation wrote in his word that he takes pleasure in giving you eternal life AND an abundant life here. But it isn't through what many people are chasing. Love the Lord Jesus Christ, doing right and keeping a close relationship with him. Praise him, pray to him, let him speak to you by studying his word and magnify it above all else in this world- using it to tear down any "wisdom" or "knowledge" that goes against it. Witness Jesus Christ to others. If you are more happy or excited about anything in this life more than you are about your salvation and witnessing to others how to be saved- you are a backslidden mess. It just takes one step to the Lord to get it right, he is not far from any one of us. Ask Him today to help you return to your first love (Rev. 2:4), to help you set your affections on things above to love Him and love others more than your heart desires anything else. If you are lost, you haven't even started life yet. You are DEAD in your trespasses and sins. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is just one step for you also, to receive eternal life. Turning from your righteousness and turning to Jesus Christ, receiving him by faith in the payment he made for your sins. Until you take that step, your life will be complete vanity and absolutely nothing you do will matter, because nothing you do will be eternal. What shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? This world will be burnt up with everything in it, and you will also if you do not receive Jesus Christ's payment for your sins. Do that today. Do that now. Then you will have eternal life and can begin making this life matter through building up treasure and rewards that are eternal and begin witnessing to others that they may have eternal life also.
