Very interesting news coming out of Ukraine. The government is actually issuing fully automatic weapons to citizens in defense of their country and their families! And people wonder why so many Americans support the 2nd Amendment to keep and BEAR arms!

Amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Ukrainian govt. distributed 10,000 automatic rifles to civilians in defense of the country.

For those of you following us at KBA Roscommon, and for all of you new here, our name is taken from the Second Amendment to the US Constitution, which recognizes the freedom to "keep and bear arms" as part of our unalienable Rights to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. (We hope you are as amused as we are with the funny double reference to cute, stuffed bears!)

To be armed as American citizens is to value innocent life above that of evil criminals who would seek to destroy us. Although some in our society have sought to deny this right, our nation's highest authority--the Supreme Court--has affirmed that the Second Amendment applies to the average US citizen giving us the right to possess and carry fi****ms. So, with great thankfulness to our founding fathers and to God above, we offer quality fi****ms to the average US citizen in their own pursuit of the American dream! It's your right and privilege!

𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞!

Perhaps many of you who follow us here at KBA Roscommon are unaware of a major shift in self-defense theory. For many years, the classic 9mm cartridge fell into disrespect and much rejection by self defenders and law enforcement due to studies in so-called "stopping power." So many (myself included) shifted over to the .40 cal. framework, following the FBI. But everything has shifted back with the advent of improved designs and impressive ballistic studies. This has resulted in a return to the 9mm platform for both law enforcement and civilian use. And consequently, a new boom market for the "micro nine" pistol has emerged. Although that term may be more of a marketing ploy than a real description, it has spawned a huge buying frenzy for small, concealable handguns that pack the ballistic power of much larger defensive weapons. In response, KBA Roscommon has many of these handy and hideable pistols in stock for immediate purchase!

In this photo, the gun in the lower right is the venerable G***k 26, one of the earliest sub-compact 9mm. A true combat-worthy gun, it remains a favorite among officers as a backup weapon. But, compared to the new innovations, it is not as concealable or as lightweight.

Here are a few alternative choices that have become popular in recent years. Upper right is the Walther PPS. Next going left and down is the G***k 43, then the Sig Sauer P365, and finally, the Kimber Micro 9 Stealth. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗥 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 & 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝘁.

It’s fair to say the most popular rifle in America now is the Modern Sporting Rifle (MSR), also known as AR-15-style fi****ms. AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle, originally designed by Eugene Stoner back in the 1950s. I bought my first one back in the early 2000s, a Smith & Wesson M&P15. I’ve enjoyed lots of fun target shooting with it and even hunted deer with it here in Michigan where the .223 ammunition is legal. Plus, it sure makes a formidable home defense rifle to keep on hand. You may notice the similarity of the gun in the foreground. Believe it or not, that’s an AR pistol! That’s right; pistol length for easier transport with all the same features of the rifle. It’s classified as a pistol so buyers must be 21 or older and complete the same paperwork as any other pistol. And, of course, owners must abide by the same handgun regulations.
