TODAY's your last day to do the Finding Freedom Road Trip and be eligible to win this beautiful barn star to hang on your house or she-shed. It's certainly doable in 1 day, we've had many finishers this week who have done just that. There are 12 stores including us and I'm told the whole loop is 280 miles. It's all west metro from Highland Quilting in Sauk Centre to the northwest and New Ulm in the south west. What a GREAT week in St. Cloud, MN. The quilt convention was here and it's always a pleasure to see so many amazing quilts and vendors. We got to see extra quilt tops when some talented quilters brought tops in looking for borders and backings. This Halloween quilt — pattern is Toil and Trouble — is Almost All Needle Turn Appliqué!! let us know if you want the pattern 🙂

You are seeing double! 😁 We all love this Multi Summer Plaid from Windham Fabrics in both the canvas - as modeled here by Adrienne on the left in the apron she made - and the regular quilting weight cotton - as modeled by Amber on the right in the overalls she made. I better get working on a shirt or pants or something so we can all wear the same uniform next time, right?!? (Amber's all for this idea!!)
