Jake with a small-water giant! This 20” brute was well earned. Long leaders, light line, and a twitched boggle did the trick. Watching this fish come up 3ft to inspect & sip his bug is an eat that will be engrained in my brain for a long time! Hell yeah Jake! 👊🏼👊🏼

Took advantage of a day off and a good weather window to go head hunting. The 8’ 4” Sector is far and away the smoothest Smallmouth specific rod I have ever used. Fishes amazing at short distances, accurate out deep, and really allows you to feel the fly when fishing streamers. Full on smallmouth wand! 🪄🏆

Low-water offerings…. Fish have started to eat topwaters but with our combo of low and dirty water it hasn’t been full force quite yet. The Leggy platform impresses me more and more every time I fish them. Between changing bead sizes, varying the amount of brush wraps in the head, and the shank configuration you can adapt these flies to SO many conditions. Swim em if you got em! 🦫

Stoked to announce I’ve officially joined the Pro Staff! I have been having an absolute blast fishing with Scott’s all Spring here in Minnesota. The folks at Scott don’t just handcraft beautiful - high performance fly rods, they make each rod a tool designed for a specific job and they have been fitting into my program like a puzzle piece.
