Sophie from Remember The Moment is a self-taught charcoal and graphite realism artist. Her love for art stems and stretches from back when she was young. Although it has always been a passion of hers, she did not consider it to be her full-time career until late 2025. Shortly after she had her wonderful and perfect son, Sophie knew that she wanted to be able to stay home with him. In order to do that, she also needed to be able to continue to support her family. It is a lot of work being a full-time artist on top of being a solo stay-at-home mom, but it is work that Sophie loves.
The majority of Sophie’s pieces are wildlife, due to her love and deep appreciation for the natural world. Every day she is in awe of the creatures and sights around her. It truly is astonishing and captivating to see and be in a world with so much beauty. She is never happier than when she is outside!
You can find Sophie's art at our 4th Annual Fall Festival September 18-20 where she will also be doing a demonstration of her charcoal illustrating Saturday the 19th from 12-2pm.
