First I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me this past year. And thank you to everyone who helped me clear out my inventory.

Because you were so helpful, I have managed to sell all but 1 piece of furniture and many smaller items.

I am going to move up my closing date to this Sunday March 28. So if you are going to visit Main Street Junk for one last time, this weekend will be the time to do so!

Thanks again for all the kind words and love St. Clair has shown me. I will miss everyone so much.

I have loved my journey as a shop owner and learned so much. But I have decided to move in a different direction. So on Saturday April 3, I will be permanently closing my business in St Clair, MO. I may open a booth in an antique mall. When l know something for certain I’ll be sure an post something letting everyone know.

In the meantime I have lots of things I’d love to sell! Starting next Thursday everything in the shop is 50% off including the Dixie Belle paints. Come and see me to say good bye and help me empty the shop!

Starting tomorrow, January 7, through Wednesday January 20, Main Street Junk will be closed. I will be in the shop working on special orders and creating new merchandise and hopefully creating order out of the chaos in my work room. Just a note to say I carry Dixie Belle paint. I try my best to keep fully stocked on all 64 colors that Dixie Bell makes. I also carry the sealers, a product which seals in all odors, called BOSS, it also eliminates the bleed through of the tannins. I have it in a couple of sizes, in white and clear. I keep Slick Stick in a few sizes, this creates a surface that the paint adheres too, for painting laminate. Lots of stain in both the gel and voo doo gel. Glazes, Dixie Bell mud for filling in the imperfections. I’m happy to guide you with advice, information and guidance. Pricing for paint is $12 for 8 oz., $20 for 16 oz.
