Remember to take care of yourself // you can't pour from an empty cup.
The past few days I've been super stressed about homelife and often tend to forget that, in order to take care of my family, I must also be giving myself grace.
My body has been feeling the stress, so yesterday I took the time to give myself a little break. I started with a little DIY epsom bath soak - just by filling a small apothecary jar with unscented epsom salt and an empty bottle of my favorite Essential Oil, Frankincense - and followed by a good face mask from while i sat back to relax.
* Not sure what to do with your empty bottles of Essential Oil? ππ» Infuse Epsom salt with the last few drops of oil in the bottle. Remove the lid and oil dropper from a mostly empty EO bottle. Put the bottle, dropper, and 1 cup of Epsom salt in a sealed container for at least 48 hours. Open it up and voilΓ : bath salts infused with a soothing aroma! Even better, you can add multiple bottles to a container of Epsom salt to get different infusions with stronger scents.
* Epsom Salt Baths help to ease sore muscles, and promote body detoxification and relaxation. I did this A LOT, especially during pregnancy, to help with the growing pains and just to relax before going to bed.
* Frankincense oil is just an overall must have, that promotes glowing skin, relaxes the mind & body and has tremendously boosts my husband's mood and helps with any stress initiated seizure activity! He is an epilepsy warrior and Frankincense has been a blessing overall, for him AND our family. I also love to add a drop to my facial moisturizer every morning for glowing skin.
