Phase 1 of my budget bathroom makeover.

I have always HATED these tiles! The counter tops weren't much better. But I had absolutely no desire to retile a master bath so I figured I'd try and work WITH the tile and countertop.

Total cost so far: $51

Quart of Secret Garden - $35

Hardware - $16

Faucets (spray painted) free

Week 7 of the () 🎇
This week went much more smoothly than last 🙏.
🌟 I got the bookcases installed and trimmed out
🌟 Shelves milled down and in
🌟 A pull out filing cabinet and drawer
🌟 Faces for the doors and drawer!
For the next a FINAL week I will be
🔨 Installing a faux planked shiplap wall between the bookcase
🔨 Install baseboards on the rest of the room
🔨 Install board and batten

It's the halfway point of the !! 🎉
This week I busted my hiney and accomplished way more than I had planned for!
✅ Installed MLV
✅ Built the large middle cabinet (end 2 are pre fab)
✅ Installed the baseboards
✅ Trimmed out and painted what's installed
✅ Removed all the drawers from the desk and gave it a little paint job
This coming week I will be putting all my focus and attention on building a 152" countertop, that of course I have never done before. But, why start small when you can start grand!! 🤷‍♀️ 💪🏻

This was a week of firsts for me 💪🏻
✅ Installed vinyl flooring
✅ Moved an outlet ON MY OWN
✅ Turned our original window sill into a low profile (flush)
✅ Resalvaged the original baseboards into a window frame 🙌🏻

🔨 Install mass loaded vinyl
🔨 Start building the cabinets

It was a week of firsts for me!
✅ Installed vinyl flooring
✅ Moved an outlet ON MY OWN
✅ Turned the original sill into a low profile (flush)
✅ Resalvaged the original baseboards of this room into the window frame 🙌🏻
Up next:
🔨 Install mass loaded vinyl so husband can listen to music without disturbing the kids.

✅ Removed the carpet

✅ Removed the window sills
✅ Painted the walls - so I can make this is the face because your husband is in charge of all the design decisions 🙈🙉🙊
