🌟 My Personal Journey Through Art 🎨
During the hurricane, I finally picked up a paintbrush again—something I’ve been hesitant to do since my father passed. Instead of second-guessing, I let my emotions pour out and began working on one of his unfinished canvases. It had a light pencil sketch of a woman sitting in a living room. I started laying paint onto his tracing his lines, then heard a still small voice say "let go" and the painting just took over. The piece, which I titled "The Light Always Shines Through," holds a deep meaning for me, symbolizing the resilience and strength I carry, even through the darkest times.
I was initially hesitant to bring it to ArtBox137 thinking it wasn’t good enough to sell and that it was just practice, something to get me painting again.
Well, I’m honored to share that this painting has found its new home with a lovely couple from Boca Raton—the very city where my father sold many of his works in the 80s. I truly believe he is shining down from heaven, guiding me on this journey and somehow still connected to me. My heart is full and happy.
"Shine on, Papa... keep painting those beautiful sunsets for us... and I promise, I'll continue painting and sharing beauty with others." 💛
