I got this B&S generator from a scrap yard. It pulled good! It didn't seem like much was wrong! Figured bad fuel? Carb issue easy fix right? Wrong! Engine is toast! Not high hours toast! How about last owner ran it 1000+hrs no oil change toast! Well we will rebuild it so the next customer can enjoy it. Remember your generator might not run every day but keep track of those hours 50 to 100hrs max! depends on load an environment. If your in a dirty environment change it every 50hrs. If its on the back porch as a stand by every 100hrs or 2yrs. Never let a generator like this run more that 24hrs without a 1hr break it hard on the genset! Also always read your manual some generators require a 40hr oil change. Every manufacture is different and that is because every engine is designed differently. PM us if you have any questions!
