We are a locally owned vintage record store established in 2016... now in MIDTOWN Sacramento...with a love of ALL kinds of music. New to Vinyl? 'We have created a chill environment for all, ask questions. stop for records, cd's and more. Rare, vintage, obscure and cool.

It was designed to provide an experience to music lovers….those that felt targeted by rules….maybe…perhaps… this might not be your place…

NEW ROCKET RECORDS RSD RULES:

We will be implementing new rules for this Saturday’s RECORD STORE DAY!
In keeping with the RSD mission and due to OUR limited title availability, we are taking steps to make it FAIR for everyone in line to have a chance to get what they’re looking for.
In the past we have had flippers come in and sn**ch one of everything as soon as we open. Rocket Records is small and community oriented. Our budget is small and we order what we can. To us RSD is for the music fan…not those who have already been to and stocked up at other stores.
SO…

1) THERE WILL BE A MAXIMUM LIMIT OF 5 RSD ITEMS PER PERSON
2) ONE (1) RSD TITLE PER PERSON (no doubles etc)
3) We will pass out a numbered sheet to the first 10 people in line. They will have a chance to provide us with their wish list PRIOR TO OPENING, THOSE ITEMS WILL BE PICKED AND WAITING FOR YOU AT THE COUNTER.
3) NO SAVING SPACES IN LINE. NEW FRIENDS WHO ARRIVE LATE GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE!
4) Five (5) people at one time in the store until the line dies down.
5) NO STORE CREDIT ON THIS DAY
6) Do NOT block the entrances to our neighbors or crowd the sidewalk.
7) please do not leave trash. Pick up after yourselves.
8) yes we did get some Taylor Swift…
