Now that's a nice boulder!

Nephrite jade, sometimes called BC Jade, is commonly found in British Columbia, Canada. This homegrown gemstone is tougher (harder to break) than Jadeite Jade. At 7 on the MOHs scale, Jadeite is actually tougher (more resistant to breaking) than Nephrite at 6.5.
Seen here is one of the huge boulders of nephrite found in northern British Columbia.
